Disney and the BBC have revealed that Doctor Who will come spinning back onto television screens in the Tardis on April 12. The premiere episode will drop on Disney Plus at 12 am PT/3 am ET in the United States and on BBC and the BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom. After that, the episodes will be released on a weekly basis, with season two having eight episodes. On top of that, one of the big guest stars was confirmed to be The Traitors host Alan Cummings, who will be involved in the show's second episode as Mr. Ring-a-Ding.

Several other guest stars have already been confirmed for Doctor Who, such as Rose Ayling-Ellis, Christopher Chung, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, Jonah Hauer-King, Ruth Madeley, Jemma Redgrave, and Susan Twist.
