Disney Wonderful World of Sweets and Parkside Market Open at Downtown Disney District

In regard to The Disney Wonderful World of Sweets menu, a unique treat character featuring Mickey ears and a smiling face has been introduced, appearing on cake pops and other themed items, which is a perfect treat for families visiting Disneyland. In celebration of the shop’s opening, Disney unveiled a new character, Poppi the Popcorn Bucket, a cheerful popcorn-themed figure with Mickey ears, which is exclusively available at the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, serving as a charming souvenir and collectible item. The store’s design is just as magical as its menu. The exterior features golden-framed windows, pink-gold gradient columns, Mickey-shaped treat sculptures, and flowing metal ribbons. Inside, vibrant decorations include a blue rug bordered in pink, walls lined with colorful treats, and giant lollipop swirls on the ceiling.

Complementing the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, the newly opened Parkside Market introduces a curated selection of four distinct culinary concepts under one roof, further enhancing the district’s offerings on the west end. Created by Levy Restaurants, Parkside Market presents a diverse array of flavors:

  • Seoul Sister: A fast-casual eatery offering Korean-inspired dishes, including bibimbap (Korean rice bowls).
  • Sip & Sonder: A vibrant spot for lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks, and Caribbean-inspired bites.
  • GG’s Chicken Shop: Serving chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic sides reminiscent of dinner table favorites.
  • A second-story bar offering signature craft cocktails, mocktails, and appetizers, with views of the Downtown Disney District.

In addition to these two newly opened stores, Disneyland is preparing to debut two eagerly awaited eateries from Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori: a steakhouse and a BBQ restaurant. Visitors heading to Downtown Disney to explore the expanded dining and shopping experiences are encouraged to review Disneyland Resort parking options in advance.
