Disney Dreamlight Valley recently revealed additional details about its third DLC expansion, Wishblossom Ranch, which will be launching on November 17, 2025. The expansion will focus on raising and caring for a variety of horses, including Disney favorites like Tangled's Maximus, while investigating a mysterious phenomenon known as the Decay. Disney Dreamlight Valley's DLCs have become known for their delightfully bizarre combinations of new characters, and Wishblossom Ranch will be no exception.
Wishblossom Ranch's Four New Residents Are A Bizarre Bunch — And I Love It
Wishblossom Ranch will see the addition of four new characters, although not all may be unlocked as Villagers immediately. These are Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, the titular princess from Snow White, Winnie-the-Pooh's friend Tigger, and 101 Dalmatians villain Cruella de Vil. Players have already begun asking "what will interactions between these four characters look like?" And are eagerly awaiting the DLC's launch to find out.
Will Tigger's playful personality remind Tinkerbell of her friend Peter Pan? Will Snow White's kindness allow her to simply brush off Cruella's vicious barbs? The interactions between these four oddly matched characters will almost certainly be a highlight of Wishblossom Ranch's story. This group also continues the proud tradition of Dreamlight Valley DLC featuring a mix of oddly matched characters:
- A Rift in Time (2023) — Rapunzel, Gaston, EVE, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Jafar
- The Storybook Vale (2024) — Merida, Flynn Rider, Hades, Maleficent, Aurora
Interactions between Disney and Pixar characters who might otherwise never meet are one of the highlights of Dreamlight Valley, and the DLCs have regularly proved one of the strongest examples of this. Regular updates to the game are usually themed around a single property, such as October's Beauty and the Beast update or the addition of Inside Out characters over the summer, so the expansions have been some of the game's best sources of crossover content.
Previous DLCs brought Gaston and Rapunzel's tentative friendship, Jafar's endless frustration with the mischievous Oswald from Steamboat Willie, and the respective rivalries between the heroic Flynn and Merida and the villainous Hades and Maleficent. Wishblossom Ranch's characters are bound to bring similar unique interactions when the DLC launches.
The New Equine Villagers Are A Delightful Mix As Well
In addition to the human, fairy, and... Well, "Tigger" additions to the game, Wishblossom Ranch will also allow players to ride, befriend, and take care of horses (and horse-adjacent creatures) from various Disney properties. Confirmed mounts include Maximus from Tangled, Pegasus from Hercules, and Khan from Mulan, with Frozen's Sven available to players who purchase the DLC's Deluxe Edition.
It has not been confirmed whether the mounts will interact with one another, but such interactions could certainly be comedic, especially given Maximus's strict personality and Sven's sometimes dog-like behavior. There is also the possibility that the mounts could meet up with their human friends, as Disney Dreamlight Valley's Mulan and Kristoff are present in the base game, while Rapunzel and Flynn are found in previous DLC, which could lead to more unique interactions.
Some Fans Have Concerns, But Most Are Excited
While some players were disappointed that Tigger will be added before Winnie-the-Pooh, or that Tinkerbell will be a DLC character, whereas Peter Pan appears in the base game, reactions to Wishblossom Ranch's content announcement have been generally positive. Fans are happy to see several new properties not already represented in the base Dreamlight Valley game, and Cruella's addition as a fun, over-the-top villain has also received praise. Others are hopeful that Tinkerbell's addition, plus the appearance of a pixie-themed biome, might mean that more Pixie Hollow / Disney Fairies characters could be added in the future.
In general, anticipation for Wishblossom Ranch is high, and the set of characters chosen for the DLC is a major reason why. Disney and Pixar characters getting to meet and become friends (or rivals, or even enemies in some cases) is always a delight, and it seems that the newest DLC will be no exception to this rule.
