Disney Dreamlight Valley houses many different creatures and critters that players can collect, whether that be animals they can keep as pets or fish they collect to make some yummy meals. Fish have many good qualities in the game, not only can they be used to make recipes that replenish quite a bit of Energy, but they can also be sold for a good amount of Star Coins.
When going fishing in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will want to keep an eye out for which fish are surrounded by which color bubbles. The bubbles in the water indicate that there is a fish waiting there to be fished up, and each different color will explain what type of fish might be waiting there for them to get. This guide will explain what each color means.
What Each Bubble Color Means
The bubbles in the water are called "ripples," they will appear in different bodies of water such as ponds, rivers, and the ocean. As stated above, the different color ripples will indicate which type of fish is in the water waiting for the player. With that being said, different colors in different biomes also indicate which type of fish players will get when they use the fishing rod at that location.
The ripples in the water, AKA bubbles, come in three colors white, blue, and gold, each one getting rarer and rarer. During the holiday season, there was also seen green and red ripples show up before as well, this is when players could get holiday fish. Which rarer ripple colors, players will have to do the timed mechanic a bit more than others, with white going for about two and gold going for about four.
