A new Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase has been announced for October 29. The event, which will be live-streamed via four platforms, will offer fans a glimpse of what to expect from Disney Dreamlight Valley during the remainder of 2024 and "beyond."
Gameloft has been hard at work adding content to Disney Dreamlight Valley ever since its popular adventure game-life sim hybrid was released in early access in September 2022. Over the following two years, the game has received roughly one big content drop every two months. This most recently happened on October 9, when Disney Dreamlight Valley launched its sizable Jungle Getaway update. Therefore, its next major patch is expected to debut by mid-December 2024.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Launches Trick or Treat 2024 Event
Disney Dreamlight Valley kicks off Halloween with its annual Trick or Treat event, featuring new and returning rewards for players.
As per usual, Gameloft will be presenting the contents of this update well ahead of release. To that end, the company has just announced another Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase, which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29. The event will kick off at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm CET on that date. Disney Dreamlight Valley fans will be able to tune into the livestream via YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Facebook.
October 2024 Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase Details

Gameloft said that the upcoming event will focus on the game's "next chapter" and "beyond." On Instagram, the company teased the broadcast with the same artwork depicting Maleficent and Hades that is seen at the very end of A Rift in Time. This move, combined with Gameloft's promise to showcase things "beyond" the next update, made some fans convinced that the October 29 event will see the company announce another Disney Dreamlight Valley expansion pass now that the third act of A Rift in Time is out.
New Disney Dreamlight Valley 'Save the Date' Reward Now Available
In the meantime, Disney Dreamlight Valley players should log into the game and check their inboxes. As is normally the case, the upcoming showcase has been treated to an in-game announcement, which includes a free cosmetic item reward. Claiming it is as simple as opening the latest "Save the Date" message and scrolling to its very bottom.
The reward itself comes in the form of a shirt. Some players have also received another "Save the Date" in-game email that includes a pair of shoes, but Gameloft says this was a mistake. Specifically, the shoes were meant to be sent out "later this week," according to a mod post on the Disney Dreamlight Valley Discord server. So, anyone who didn't receive them today will be able to claim them before the end of October 2024.
