There are more than a hundred different recipes in the game, each requiring unique ingredients. Getting certain ingredients might be harder than others; one such ingredient is Butter. How to Get Butter in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Much like in real life, Butter is an essential ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley for adding flavor and texture to many different foods. Given the premium nature of the ingredient, it can not be foraged or churned out. The only place in the valley where players can find it is Chez Remy's Pantry, that too at the cost of 190 Star Coins for each butter. However, players won’t be able to purchase it until they unlock Remy's restaurant and complete a friendship quest for the master chef.
In order to unlock Remy, players need to follow a couple of steps. First, they will have to make their way to Dream Castle and enter Ratatouille Realm. Once there, complete the 'An Important Night at the Restaurant' quest to convince the little chef Remy to return to the valley. This quest will involve cooking several dishes for Remy using the ingredients present in his kitchen, and ultimately setting up a house for him in the valley.
Once this quest is completed, Remy will return to the valley. Next, players just have to complete one short friendship quest, A Restaurant Makeover, to get Remy's restaurant up and running. Once Remy reopens his restaurant, players can easily buy Butter and various other ingredients from the pantry section.
How to Use Butter in Disney Dreamlight Valley
As already stated, Butter is a staple ingredient used in over 20 different recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here are some 5-star meals that can be prepared using Butter:

Alternatively, Butter can be consumed directly to replenish 285 Energy or sold for 190 Star Coins. In addition to that, players can also gift it to NPCs to increase friendship levels with them.
