Disney Dreamlight Valley's Haunted Holiday Star Path event sets itself apart from previous iterations of these limited-time events.In contrast to past Star Paths, where the required tasks were clear-cut, this year's event poses more ambiguous requests.
Among the various duties, one in particular calls for the player to induce a "Sugar Rush'' in the villagers. This one is a bit cryptic, as there are certainly numerous possibilities given the amount of sugary goodness players can whip up. However, only one specific item will count for completing this Dreamlight Duty, so here’s what players will need to do.
How to Give Villagers a Sugar Rush
This Haunted Holiday Star Path duty requires players to craft Candy and gift it to villagers 10 times. Repeat gifts to the same villager are permitted, streamlining the process and likely giving that character one heck of a tummy ache. The player will receive a small amount of Friendship for each Candy they give that character, as they would with any items given as gifts.
This Haunted Holiday Star Path duty should not be confused with the Halloween Dreamlight Duty named "Sugar Rush." The Halloween version requires the player to gift a special seasonal candy that is exclusive to the event. For this Star Path duty, however, regular Candy is all that is needed.

How to Make Candy in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, Candy can be made using any single ingredient from the "Sweets" category. This includes the following ingredients:
- Vanilla - Obtained by foraging in the Sunlit Plateau region.
- Cocoa Bean - Obtained via foraging in both the Glade of Trust and the Sunlit Plateau.
- Sugarcane - Can either be cultivated from seeds or bought in limited quantity from Goofy's Stall located in Dazzle Beach.
After gathering enough of one of these ingredients to produce 10 Candies, players should head to a cooking station. Here, they can prepare Candy using just one ingredient from the "Sweets" category. Adding more than one type of ingredient will yield a different recipe.
Once all 10 Candies are ready, players should speak with any of Dreamlight Valley’s residents. By choosing the dialogue option "I have something to give you," players can hand over the Candy. Repeating this action 10 times, even with the same villager, will complete the "Give Villagers a Sugar Rush" duty for the Haunted Holiday Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
