Disney Dreamlight Valley's recent Halloween update that first launched on October 9th has introduced many new things, including a new Star Path that has some villain-inspired items which is perfect for the Halloween season. While there isn't a ton of Halloween stuff available at the moment, there is a new Mickey Mouse Halloween Candy Bowl that players can get within the new update as part of the Trick or Treat event coming later this month.

This is the third year that the event has run, and each time, it brings some new things for players to do, including Trick or Treat with their villagers. Players who attended previous years' Halloween events will probably still have some candy left over, which will trigger the recipe to be unlocked when they go to a crafting table. Don't worry; those who don't get it can expect to have it later this month. This guide will go over how to make Mickey's Halloween Candy Bowl in Dreamlight Valley.

The Trick or Treat event will run from October 23rd to the 31st, allowing players to hand out candy to their favorite Disney characters within the game. Mickey's Halloween Candy Bowl will be slightly tricky to make if players don't have the previous year's candy or haven't waited for the event to start so they can begin harvesting green, purple, and red candy again. However, remember that the candy will be returned for the event so no one will miss out. Below are all the materials needed:

  • Clay (x5)
  • Green Candy (x2)
  • Purple Candy (x2)
  • Red Candy (x2)

Players will be able to find the different colors of candy during the event through Halloween Candy Bowls, which spawn randomly around the Valley. The bowls will sparkle like other items that can be picked up and can be found around the Plaza, but only during the event. Another way to get the green, purple, and red candies is through Trick or Treating with the Valley villagers in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The candies cannot be bought but can be sold for 22 Star Coins. If eaten, they will give the player 123 energy points.

Clay can be found in a few different biomes, including Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Forgotten Lands. The only way to obtain Clay is by digging with a shovel in these locations, with Sunlit Plateau being one of the best places to start, as it has a lot of space to dig. The fastest way to gain Clay is by using a real shovel, having a villager companion tag along who has at least a level 2 friendship or higher, and continuing to dig until players have the amount of Clay they need. Clay can be sold for 20 Star Coins and can sometimes be found at Kristoff's Stall.

Once players have all the materials needed, they can head over to a crafting table and craft Mickey's Halloween Candy Bowl, which will bring them one step closer to being prepared for the yearly Halloween celebration within Disney Dreamlight Valley.
