Disney Dreamlight Valley players are busy exploring the new Missions that the Uncharted Space update has to offer, and while most of the rewards are in plain sight, some are a bit harder to find. This is the case for a set of adorable peppermint Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears that players can earn by completing Festive Dreamlight Duties. These headbands aren't found in the new Festive Star Path, so it's definitely easy to miss them, but they are very much worth the time and effort since they go great with so many of the new clothing options.
For those that haven't logged on recently, Disney Dreamlight Valley just launched its second content update, titled Missions in Uncharted Space. Alongside introducing new characters Buzz and Woody and the Toy Story Realm, the update also comes with a new star path and a host of Festive Dreamlight Duties to complete, each with its own holiday-themed rewards.
How to Get Festive Candy Ears (Peppermint Mickey Ears)
To get the Peppermint Mickey Mouse Ears, players need to complete the Festive Dreamlight Duty called "Cookie Taste Test." This is rather simple, as players simply need to cook and eat three different kinds of cookies. Currently, the following recipes all satisfy this requirement:
- Minnie's Gingerbread Cookies (Wheat, Ginger)
- Chocolate Chip Cookies (Wheat, Butter, Cocoa, Sugarcane)
- My Hero Cookie (Wheat, Butter, Any Sweet Ingredient)
- Biscuits (Wheat, Sugarcane, Butter)
For all of these recipes, players will also need a piece of coal to light the stove. Simply eat three of these cookies and then claim the Peppermint Mickey Ears from the Village tab of the Dreamlight Duties page.
How to Get Festive Candy Ears With Bow (Peppermint Minnie Ears)
The Peppermint Minnie Mouse Ears are also acquired by completing a Festive Dreamlight Duty, this time titled "Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?" As the name implies, players need to place a snowman somewhere in the valley, but any of the Classic Snowman, Snow Lady, or Snow Kid recipes will work.
To craft any of these items, players need 10 Snowballs, three Pebbles, two Fabric, and one Carrot. If players already have a snowman somewhere in their village, they can complete this quest by simply picking it up and replacing it. Just like the Halloween Dreamlight Duties, claim the reward in the Village tab of the Dreamlight Duties page.
That's all there is to completing these Festive Dreamlight Duties and claiming the Peppermint Mickey and Minnie Ears as rewards. Unsurprisingly, they match many of the Festive Star Path rewards really well, especially the Festive Dress. It's yet another way players can show their holiday spirit as they explore Dreamlight Valley and the new Toy Story realm.
