Vanellope, the spunky racer from Wreck-It Ralph, has made her way to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and many players are excited to design a candy-themed area around her whimsically sweet home. To accompany the various fun candy and gaming-themed furniture items from Wreck-It Ralph, players can tile the Valley in the delightfully sweet Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement.
Players are given a taste of this delicious exterior flooring during Vanellope’s quest, “Extreme Biome Makeover,” which is likely to leave players craving more to create an even more epic Sugar Rush track. To satisfy their sweet tooth, here’s what players need to craft these sugary sidewalks in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Make Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement
The key ingredient for crafting the Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement is Candy. To create four tiles of Sugar Cookie Pavement or Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement, players need to use 2 Candy at any crafting table. These crafting recipes can be found in the "Fence & Paving" category, and both recipes are unlocked by default, so the player won’t have to complete any quests to learn how to make the tasty tracks.
How to Make Candy in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Preparing Candy in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a simple process. Players can whip up this sugary treat using any one ingredient from the "Sweets" category at a cooking station. The player can use any of the following ingredients to craft Candy:
- Vanilla - Obtained via foraging in the Sunlit Plateau.
- Cocoa Bean - Obtained via foraging in Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau areas.
- Sugarcane - Grown from seeds or purchased from Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach.
Because each craft of four tiles requires 2 pieces of Candy, the player should focus on planting and harvesting Sugarcane since the other ingredients require foraging with quantities limited by each plant's respawn rates.
Differences Between Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement
- The Sugar Cookie Pavement features a cheery checkerboard of icing and sprinkles that players can easily tile. This path emulates a more natural look and fades into the biome’s natural ground on the edges when placed.
- The Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement features the same checkerboard design, but it is smaller, and each tile is surrounded by a border of minty candies and chocolate bars. The border will display on the edge tiles only when this pavement is placed on the ground.
The two different kinds of pavement do not tile together, so if players want to create a larger area of flooring bordered by the Deluxe pieces, players will have to use Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement to cover the entire center area. Thankfully, since both pavements require the same materials to craft, this is a pretty easy task.
