A funny Disney Dreamlight Valley bug is making it impossible for players to cook recipes. Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation and adventure game that lets players explore various regions, take on quests, and befriend beloved Disney characters.
Similar to other sim games, Disney Dreamlight Valley has a farming mechanic that allows players to gather crops that they can use as ingredients to cook tasty meals, ranging from appetizers to main courses to desserts. These dishes can be eaten by the player to replenish their energy bar, or they can be gifted to Disney NPCs and even other players.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Plagued by Frustrating Birthday Cake Glitch
Disney Dreamlight Valley players report a frustrating glitch revolving around the Birthday Cake item in the Memory Mania limited-time event.
While it's normal to miss out on certain ingredients while cooking meals, Disney Dreamlight Valley player mi_estas_birdo shared a funny bug that made ingredients fall out of their pot. In a video shared on Reddit, they were adding pumpkins to their soup, but some of them kept falling to the ground. Fortunately, the discarded pumpkins didn't affect the total number of pumpkins in the player's inventory, but they still found it troublesome because they couldn't complete their recipe.
Disney Dreamlight Valley's Funny Cooking Bug Explained
- Disney Dreamlight Valley bug causes ingredients to fall out of player's cooking pot
According to mi_estas_birdo's Reddit post, they experienced this bug while playing on Xbox, adding that they weren't sure if an internet issue was causing the bug. In the comment section, many Disney Dreamlight Valley fans found the bug funny, while also sympathizing with the player because they could see the inconvenience it was causing them. Meanwhile, a number of players also shared that they experienced the same bug on PlayStation, Switch, and Mac, and had already reported the bug to Gameloft.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is definitely no stranger to bugs ever since its early access release back in 2022. Just last month, Gameloft released a patch that fixed several Disney Dreamlight Valley issues, including a bug that caused the game to freeze while cooking outdoors. Many fans also reported instances where their avatars would become partially invisible, and NPCs morphing into one another. Fortunately, a good chunk of the bugs aren't exactly game-breaking and Gameloft manages to address the more serious ones in patch updates.
Meanwhile, Disney Dreamlight Valley fans are currently enjoying new content featuring Mulan and Mushu, as well as free Inside Out 2 content. Disney Dreamlight Valley fans are also looking forward to new content that was hinted in a recent survey, which included popular franchises like Star Wars and Alice in Wonderland.
