Disney Dreamlight Valley players will create a unique crafting station for Ariel as part of her friendship quests, but what many players don't know is that it's possible to make extra ones for players to use themselves. Compared to the standard crafting station or even the iron variant, Ariel's Crafting Station is a striking blue and can add a lot of character to a room that a regular crafting station never could. That said, all of this decadence comes at a cost, as the recipe for making this crafting station is much more costly than the other two. Of course, it also requires that players bring Ariel back to the Dreamlight Valley.
The quest where players are first introduced to Ariel's Crafting Station is called "Thingamabobs, Gadgets, and Gizmos," and is Ariel's level 7 Friendship quest. Longtime Disney Dreamlight Valley players will know that this item was actually unobtainable outside of that quest initially. If players wanted an extra one to use in their house, they had to craft two during the quest. Thankfully, this is no longer the case.
Unlocking The Recipe For Ariel's Crafting Station
Thanks to recent Dreamlight Valley updates, players can now craft as many Ariel's Crafting Stations as they please, so long as they have completed "Thingamabobs, Gadgets, and Gizmos". All players need to do is rescue Ariel by rebuilding the raft off the coast of Dazzle Beach and then level Ariel up to Friendship Level 7 by giving her gifts, completing her quests, and having daily conversations with her. Start the quest and eventually Ariel will ask the player to make her a crafting station. From this point forward, the recipe is permanently unlocked.
Ariel's Crafting Station Recipe
Players will need to make a crafting station for Ariel to complete her quest and one or more for themselves as well, but this isn't easy given how expensive it is to craft. In total, players will need the following materials for each Ariel's Crafting Station they wish to make:
- 40 Sand - Obtained by digging on the beach or breaking large blue rocks.
- 10 Scallops - Blue shells found on the shore of Dazzle Beach.
- 3 Aquamarines - Mined from rocks in Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor.
- 10 Gold Ingots - Crafted from Gold obtained from mining spots in the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands.
- 20 Hardwood - Gather near trees in numerous biomes or break stumps.
With all the ingredients, head to any crafting station and look under the Functional Items tab (the same tab with Dreamlight Valley's Custom Signposts). Ariel's Crafting Station can be found here and, once crafted, can be placed anywhere just like a normal crafting station. Aside from looking cooler, it doesn't do anything special, but that surely won't stop players from sinking the resources needed to make this luxurious crafting station.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is in early access now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
