To unlock Floating Islands in Disney Dreamlight Valley, gamers have to complete Merlin’s “Islands in the Sky” quest, which can be unlocked after finishing the main story quest “What’s Left Behind” and then talking to Merlin. Finishing this quest will unlock only the Plaza Island, however. To unlock more biomes, gamers have to pay 15,000 Dreamlight for each Floating Island biome via the fast-travel menu.

Another highlight of the recent Sew Delightful update was the introduction of Brazilian Portuguese to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Before now, the game only had English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese as language options.

Since its Early Access release in September 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s developer Gameloft has been working hard to ensure that players always have fresh content, constantly improving their experience. So far, the game has received 14 different major content updates, which havee added characters, cosmetics, quests, and more. At the moment, Gameloft has not given many details about the content coming up in 2025, but if the company keeps the same pace, Disney Dreamlight Valley will continue to be one of the best cozy games available on the market.
