To kick off the quest "Deal of the Day: Bad Hair Day," the player will need to have purchased the Ursula's Transformation Dream Bundle and have completed all associated quests up to and including "Deal of the Day: Off the Hook." On the following day, the player should to speak with Ursula, the iconic villain from Disney's "The Little Mermaid," while her “Vanessa” Dream Style is equipped.
How to Complete "Deal of the Day: Bad Hair Day"
Ursula has yet another task for the player involving a deal she’s made with one of the villagers that has gone sour. This time, an agreement has been made with Moana who, in exchange for a gift from Ursula, is supposed to share advice to resolve Ursula’s concerns about her own hair.
Accustomed to her life underwater, she has been struggling with her tresses since acquiring her human form. She mentions that Moana, with her enviable locks, had promised to offer some hair care advice but has not yet held up her end of their deal. She asks the player to find Moana and remind her to fulfill her side of the bargain.
Speak with Moana
The next step in this quest involves speaking with Moana, the Polynesian princess famous for her adventures at sea. Moana admits she completely forgot about her deal with Ursula, having been wholly absorbed in the star chart she had received in their exchange. Feeling guilty of the unintentional delay, Moana proposes a way to quickly make amends: by crafting coconut oil for Ursula's hair.
Gather Coconuts
For this part of the quest, Moana requests the player to forage 5 Coconuts. Coconuts grow abundantly from the trees in Dazzle Beach, near its shores from which Moana often sets sail.
Seek WALL-E's Assistance
After securing the Coconuts, it's time to process them into coconut oil. For this task, Moana has suggested the shy robot WALL-E as the ideal villager to help. WALL-E is skilled in processing various materials and Moana is confident he’s perfect for the job of shredding and compacting the coconuts to extract the oil.
Upon finding WALL-E, the player should hand over the coconuts for shredding. The robot is not only efficient but also thrilled to assist in this environmental-friendly task. After WALL-E finishes processing the coconuts, he hands over a bottle of shredded coconuts which the player should return to Moana.
Return to Moana
Bringing the Shredded Coconuts back to Moana completes the tasks needed to fulfill her end of the deal made with Ursula; there is no need for the player to return to Ursula to complete the quest. Moana expresses her gratitude and rewards the player with two Swordfish and a Fugu, both rare fish that can be used for cooking quality recipes.
Moana assures the player she will take care of things with Ursula, and thus, the quest "Deal of the Day: Bad Hair Day" is completed. The player can speak with Ursula on the following day to unlock her next quest.
