In the virtual world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, Ursula retains her notorious reputation for making deals that are heavily weighted in her favor. Those who find themselves unable to meet the stipulations of these contracts often suffer harsh consequences.
Her deceitful behavior hasn’t changed much in Disney Dreamlight Valley, where she continues to lure the player and other villagers into forming pacts with reprehensible repercussions. The quest “Deal of the Day: Off The Hook” is a prime example of one of these deals gone wrong. Here’s how players can make things right and help out Goofy in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Start "Deal of the Day: Off The Hook"
The quest "Deal of the Day: Off The Hook" becomes available at the same time Ursula offers the quest, “Voice of Reason,” the third quest in the series unlocked with purchase of the Ursula's Transformation Dream Bundle. Each subsequent day, she will offer another "Deal of the Day" quest until all have been completed.
How to Complete "Deal of the Day: Off The Hook"
Upon speaking with Ursula, the player learns that she has managed to convince a handful of villagers to make questionable deals with her. Each of these villagers has failed to fulfill their side of the bargain, and Ursula wants the players help to collect their dues.
Ursula first sends the player to speak with Goofy, who owes her a fair bit of Seaweed and Red Algae as part of their deal. The player should head to Goofy, where they’ll learn that he had made a deal with Ursula to enchant his Fishing Rod in exchange for the Seaweed and Red Algae.
Help Goofy Repair the Enchanted Fishing Rod
However, Goofy's new Enchanted Fishing Rod broke, and now he’s had awful luck catching what he needs to hold up his end of the bargain. The player assures Goofy that they’ll be able to fix the Enchanted Fishing Rod. The player needs to collect the following materials:

Once the player has the required items in their inventory, head back to Goofy and deliver the parts. He is thankful and will get to work right away on repairing his Fishing Rod. In the meantime, the player offers to help ease Goofy’s burden by fishing for some of the items needed to fulfill his obligation to Ursula.
Collect Seaweed and Red Algae
The player should equip their own Royal Fishing Rod and head to any body of water in the Valley to fish for Seaweed and Red Algae. The player needs to collect the following quantity of each:

The player may wish to bring along a fishing companion to increase their chances of receiving extra items when fishing. The player is not required to actually catch these items as part of the quest’s criteria, so if they have Seaweed and Red Algae saved up, they can simply grab them from their storage chests.
With these items collected, head back to Ursula. The player assures her that Goofy will catch the rest of her payment, and she rewards the player with a Miracle Fishing Bait, completing the quest “Deal of the Day: Off The Hook.”
