How to Chat With the Villager From Motunui in Disney Dreamlight Valley
So the villager from Motunui in DDV is the young voyager Moana. She is the daughter of Motunui’s chief and lives there with her family. Apart from Moana, Disney Dreamlight Valley also has her sailing companion Maui. To complete this Star Path duty, players need to have two daily discussions with Moana.
First, find Moana by opening the map and fast-traveling to her location. Simply interact and talk to her once you find her. Unlike some other duties that require you to hang out with a character for a certain amount of time, talking to a villager hardly takes a minute. However, Dreamers will need to do this for two days to complete the task and collect the reward.
After your first daily discussion with Moana, find her again the next day and repeat the aforementioned steps. This will complete the task and earn you 15 Magnolia Tokens.
Before starting this Star Path duty, you need to unlock Moana. For that, go to Moana’s Realm in the Dream Castle, which costs 3,000 Dreamlight. Next, to invite the cute voyager to the Dreamlight Valley, you have to complete the How Far You’ll Go quest. This quest begins after you do The Great Maui in Moana’s Realm. If you haven't done this quest, you can do it now with the help of this guide.
Once you successfully unlock Moana, you can do her friendship quests as you raise your relationship level with her. Here’s the list of her quests:
- Fixing the Boat (Level 2)
- Peacemakers (Level 4)
- The Remembering (Level 6)
- The Search for Pua (Level 8)
- The Ceremony (Level 10)
Like other DDV villagers, Moana has a fixed schedule. Dreamers can find her from 2 AM to 8 PM at places like Chez Remy, Scrooge McDuck’s store, or around Dreamlight Valley. She sleeps from 10 PM to 12 AM, so you can’t chat with her during that time.
