Painting Scraps Location In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley
To get Painting Scraps in DDV, you need to use the Watering Can and water the dusty furniture in the castle. This is similar to the Bing Bong Plushie hidden quest in the Inside Out realm, where Dreamers had to go all over the area and find random items. There are eight Painting Scraps in total throughout the Beauty and the Beast realm, so collect all of them to not miss out on the reward at the end.
Painting Scrap Location #1
Upon entering the Beauty and the Beast realm, turn right and climb the stairs to find the first dusty object in the corridor.
Painting Scrap Location #2
Go downstairs and enter the Beast's room, guarded by two lion statues, to see a dusty table in the corner.
Painting Scrap Location #3-4
Head into the backroom and proceed to the library to find a dusty tea cart and a dusty pile of books.

Get out of the room and water the dusty couch.
Painting Scrap Location #6
Continue walking to the garden and water the dusty lamp as well.

In the garden, there is a dusty object between the trellis near the crafting table and another at the end, up the stairs.
How To Use Painting Scraps In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley
To use the Painting Scraps in DDV, head to the library and approach the fireplace to burn all the scraps. Burning all eight Painting Scraps will reward you with an outfit bag that contains the Elegant Butler Shoes.
It seems this is the missing piece from Cogsworth's outfit, as he only rewards you with a Clockwork Coat and Elegant Butler Trousers; no shoes. Meanwhile, Lumiere gifted Dreamers the full set, including the Ruffled Stage Dress, the Elegant Stage Necklace, and the Ruffled Stage Shoes.
Both characters must be level 10 and have their final friendship quest completed for you to get the rewards. So, make sure to finish the Vote for Cogsworth quest for the Elegant Butler set and the Long Lost Loves quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley to get the Ruffled Stage set.
