Fox's Favorite Food in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In real life, foxes usually like to eat fish and seafood, and it's the same in the game. You can give them any available fish, such as Salmon, Bass, Crab, Herring, and more. There are around 45 types of fish in DDV, so Dreamers can catch any from their specific biomes and feed them to the foxes.

However, foxes do have a favorite food: White Sturgeon fish. To complete your Dreamlight Duties and earn rewards, Dreamers will need to feed them this specific fish. The White Sturgeon is only found in the Frosted Heights biome, the last biome in the Dreamlight Valley.

Once you enter the Frosted Heights biome, find a body of water and cast your line in the golden bubbles. Keep in mind that fishing outside the golden ripples won't get you the White Sturgeon. You'll need a Fishing Rod for this, which you likely already have from the early game ‘A Royal Tools’ quest.

Since players will need to feed foxes several times to make them their companions, consider bringing a fishing buddy along to catch more fish.

How to Feed Foxes in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After catching enough fish, go to the Frosted Heights to find foxes. When you see one, chase it until it stops and lets you feed it. Feeding the fox its favorite food usually gives you Dream Shards, Memory Shards, Motif Bags, or Iron Ingots. After feeding foxes White Sturgeon, you can use any extra fish to restore 1,800 energy or sell them at Goofy’s Stall for 1,250 Star Coins each.

Here are all types of foxes in DDV:

  • Black Fox
  • Blue Fox
  • Red Fox
  • White Fox
  • Classic Fox.

Like other DDV critters, all foxes have a set schedule. For example, you can find the Blue Fox on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, while the Classic Fox appears on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
