How To Complete The Serpent’s Gift Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The quest begins after you speak with Jafar about his new alchemical discovery. The royal vizier wants to share the secret of imagination with everyone.
Place Jafar’s Imagination Generators
To set up the secret of imagination, players will need to place his Imagination Generators in the following places:
- The Lagoon
- The Borderlands
- The Docks
- Near Oswald’s House
Once done, you’ll need to wait for 10 minutes for Jafar’s machinery to work.
Talk To Oswald And Make Poutine
Jafar claims that the generator near Oswald’s house will cheer him up, so ask him about his mood. However, it turns out that the lucky rabbit is not feeling well. To boost Oswald’s energy, players will need to make him a Poutine. Here are the items required for it:
- 1 x Potato
- 1 x Canola
- 1 x Cheese
You can get Potatoes and Canola by planting their seeds and harvesting them after 35 minutes each. Buy Potato Seeds for 55 Star Coins and Canola Seeds for 25 Star Coins from Goofy’s Stall, and purchase Cheese from Remy’s Pantry for 180 Star Coins. After gathering the items, go to a cooking station, make Poutine, and give it to Oswald.
Next, the protagonist will need to check in with these three villagers to see how they are doing:
- Gaston
- Scrooge McDuck
- Rapunzel
You’ll notice they’re all acting a little off. So, go talk to EVE, who will give you a hint that Jafar has planted something in each of their homes.
Investigate The Three Villagers' Homes
Jafar has planted a Golden Cobra in all of the three villager’s homes. So, in the next step, Dreamers will need to search their homes and remove this golden object from there.
Once you’ve cleared them out, talk to Gaston, who will reveal that Jafar hypnotized him and used him to move equipment from the palace to the Ancient Ruins.
Search For Jafar’s Secret Machine And Confront Him
Head to the Ancient Ruins to find Jafar’s secret machine. It’s deep inside a chamber where he’s keeping Oswald trapped. Once you find it, confront Jafar about his evil plan.
Short-Circuit Jafar’s Machine Power Sources
To stop Jafar, saviors will need to use the Watering Can to short-circuit the machine's power sources in the corners of the chamber. Then, use the pickaxe to break the machine's pillars and free Oswald. Finally, talk to Jafar and give him one last warning to finish the quest.
