How To Trigger The Ink-Stained World Quest In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Ink-Stained World quest in DDV is triggered automatically after completing A Hero of Ink and Paper quest. Speak with the Lorekeeper, who urges you to touch the tapestry behind her and start searching for Princess Aurora.
Once players are inside the Storybook World, they need to find the back room to proceed forward, only to arrive at the destination and find the door locked. Speak with the three enchanted stained-glass windows to get help on what to do next.
After introducing themselves as the good fairies who used to take care of Princess Aurora, they ask you to complete three trials and retrieve three crucial items; The Shield of Virtue, the Sword of Truth, and the Cap of Song. These were the items given to Prince Philip to help save Aurora, so they might aid you in the upcoming battle as well.
How To Complete All The Trials In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the Ink-Stained World quest, dreamers must complete a trial for each fairy in DDV, where they will test your bravery, kindness, and wit. The three trials are:
- The Trial of Virtue for Merryweather to obtain the Shield of Virtue.
- The Trial of Truth for Fauna to obtain the Sword of Truth.
- The Trial of Song for Flora to obtain the Cap of Song.
After completing all of the given trials successfully, return to the back room and speak with the fairies one last time. They congratulate you and ask you to equip the clothing items to finally meet Princess Aurora.
Next, enter the room and a cutscene will play introducing the princess. Speak with her, and she'll explain what all of this mess in the Lorekeeper is doing. Shortly after, the magical tome appears and players confront her. Apparently, the Lorekeeper couldn't accept how you and Aurora are handling the situation around the valley and how villains and heroes are living harmoniously. So, she decided to erase the world forever. At this point, the Ink-Stained World quest is finished, and you will start the Tales that Bind quest in DDV.
