One of his recent projects is a scavenger hunt designed to engage the villagers, with players playing a crucial role in guiding them throughout the event. Here’s how you can help the Valley’s residents find and solve clues in the “The Scavenger Hunt” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Dreamlight Valley: The Scavenger Hunt Quest Walkthrough
The Disney Dreamlight Valley quest "The Scavenger Hunt" is the fourth and final Friendship Quest players can unlock with Sulley, available upon reaching Friendship Level 10 and having completed his prior quests up to and including "The Power of Knowledge."
Sulley is planning a Scavenger Hunt and considers Stitch, Vanellope, Olaf, and Donald as ideal participants. There's an option to express reservations about inviting Donald, leading Sulley to make Donald's participation optional.
If you talk to the first three characters before Donald, the option to invite Donald disappears. However, he declines to join the Scavenger Hunt anyway, so visiting him first is only useful if you're interested in his comments.
It is necessary to find and talk to Stitch, Olaf, and Vanellope and, after speaking with each character, return to Sulley's house to start the scavenger hunt. Sulley explains the hunt's rules and provides the First Clue. Speak with Sulley, and he asks you to help any contestants having trouble figuring out the riddles.
The Scavenger Hunt: Where to Find the Second Clue
The First Clue directs participants to "a royal hall with many doors," leading them to the Dream Castle. Head to the castle, where you will encounter Olaf. He has discovered the Second Clue but needs help decoding it.
The Scavenger Hunt: Where to Find the Third Clue
The Second Clue advises you to "search near a wizard made of gold," which refers to a golden statue of Mickey as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice located on the Dream Castle's top floor. Head up the stairs, and to the left of the statue, the Third Clue awaits on a gleaming sheet of paper nestled between a potted bush and a closed door.
The Scavenger Hunt: Where to Find the Fourth Clue
The Third Clue advises going "under the cascade and don’t be afraid," guiding the player to Vitalys Mine behind the waterfall in Sunlit Plateau. Inside, you'll find Stitch, who has discovered the Fourth Clue but finds himself disoriented and could use a little help.

The Scavenger Hunt: Where to Find the Fifth Clue
The Fourth Clue reads, “Underground, there’s a babbling pool; quick, cast your hook.” Venture further into the mine by following the right-hand path for a short distance until you encounter some mine carts. Then, turn around and ascend the ramp leading to a small ledge with a waterfall and a pool featuring an orange fishing spot. Cast your line into this pool to successfully reel in the Fifth Clue.
The pool is located in the same area of Vitalys Mines where players learned to make Disney Dreamlight Valley's Extra Fizzy Root Beer for one of Scar’s quests. The pool is currently bugged and may spawn inside the rocks around the lake, so you will have to aim carefully.
The Scavenger Hunt: Where to Find the Sixth Clue
The Fifth Clue offers a simple fill-in-the-blank puzzle, where you’ll need to complete the following rhyme: “Hope your veggies aren’t stemmy when you visit Chez…” The missing word is “Remy,” so exit Vitalys Mines and head to Chez Remy, where you’ll find Vanellope.
The Scavenger Hunt: Where to Find the Final Clue
Inside, Vanellope puzzles over the SixtyhClue, which reads: "My secret can only be revealed as a simmer with a POWERful citrus fruit…" The final clue requires combining The Sixth Clue item with a Lemon at a Cooking Station to create the Decoded Final Clue. Vanellope insists that you deserve to claim victory and asks you to bring the clue to Sulley.
Where To Get Every Ingredient In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Getting every ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be confusing if players don't know where to look.
Talk to Sulley and hand over the Decoded Final Clue, explaining that Vanellope decided you should be the one to turn it in and claim the winner's position. Sulley agrees, mentioning that everyone praised your help. He shares that they're working on a secret arts and crafts project and asks you to check in on them.
How to Make the Sulley Statue
Speak with Vanellope, and she reveals that they have been working on a special Sulley Statue as a gift to thank him for the fun scavenger hunt. She explains that they need a few more materials and asks you to collect them and bring them to Stitch, so he can put the finishing touches on the statue. She asks you to get:
- 25 Purple Flowers – Pick any assortment of 25 purple flowers. Purple flowers can be found growing in every biome except the Frosted Heights.
- 15 Blueberries – Foraged from bushes in the Forest of Valor and Dazzle Beach biomes.
- 2 Boiled Eggs – Prepare two dishes of the Hard-Boiled Eggs appetizer at a Cooking Station.
Once you've gathered the materials, speak with Stitch and select 25 flowers from your inventory to give. Click the button at the bottom of the selection window, and a new window will appear showing all the ingredients you are about to hand over. Choose "Give," and Stitch will complete the Sulley Statue and give it to you for placement anywhere in the Valley.
Place the Sulley Statue anywhere in the Valley and it will trigger a photo opportunity. Take and save a photo, and then speak to Sulley after the ceremony ends. He thanks you for everything you did to help make the Scavenger Hunt a success and also for your assistance in all of his previous events. He gives you the Sulley Statue and the Blue Faur-Fux Monster Jacket, which matches the Blue Faux-Fur Boots unlocked at Friendship Level 8, and completes the quest “The Scavenger Hunt” in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
