How To Complete Jafar’s Laboratory Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The quest begins right after you enter Jafar’s Palace and find the main entrance locked. The savior will have to look for the key in Jafar’s palace to unlock the throne’s door. For that, players have to visit Jafar’s Laboratory.
Jafar’s Laboratory Location
Players can find Jafar’s Laboratory on the second floor of his grand palace. To reach the lab, you can take the left staircase, clear (or avoid) the obstacles, and keep going until you reach a massive hall with an hourglass puzzle. This place will be Jafar’s Laboratory.
How To Feed Jafar’s Lab Bird
You will find Jafar’s black raven in this magical and mysterious lab. Interact with the raven to ask about the key, but it will simply refuse to help you until you feed him. So, check the table on the right side for clues about what the bird likes to eat. You will learn that the raven is pretty picky and only eats food made with fresh vegetables and rotten seafood. It's an odd choice, but that's Jafar's raven for you.
With this in mind, go to the nearby table with rotten ingredients. Grab the Rotten Fish and Rotten Clam, then use the big hourglass to change the timezone. After that, pick up the Ripe Tomato and Ripe Carrot. Find the stove, put all the ingredients in the pot, and make the Bird Food. Give the food to the bird, and you will get the shiny Power Coil.
Search For Where The Shiny Thing Belongs & Get Throne Key
Next, you need to put the Ancient Power Coil into the large power socket in the main part of the lab. After that, rotate the white stone plates on the ground and move the golden mirror so that one side points at the hourglass and the other side points at the power socket. Finally, flip the hourglass to open the magical gate.
Pick Up The Key & Open The Throne Gate
After solving the puzzle, enter the chamber and grab Jafar’s Key. Now, turn the big hourglass back to normal and head to the main hall where the locked gate is. Use the key to unlock it, and the quest will end. You can then continue with The Palace of Time quest and start the Now and Then quest.
