How To Make Button Stew In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Button Stew in Disney Dreamlight Valley, combine a Button Mushroom and a Carrot on any stove top.
Button Mushroom Location
Button Mushrooms are found scattered around the Glamour Gulch biome. The ingredient is a forageable and is picked from the ground. The biome is the second one you'll unlock, as you need to find the other Crystal Key to continue the trials.
The Button Mushroom can be found in all areas of Glamour Gulch. The first step is to complete the Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps quest to unlock Maximus. Next, increase your friendship to level 3 so he can perform a super hump across the bridge into Glamour Gulch.
If players require more Button Mushrooms, they can always unlock the rest of the areas to increase the number of forageables. But, keep in mind that some areas either require completing some Cruella De Vil quests, or using Khan to destroy the barricades.
Carrot Location
Carrot is an original ingredient that's found in the Dreamlight Valley. Simply head to the Peaceful Meadow and interact with a Goofy's Stall to purchase either Carrots or Carrot Seeds. It takes 15 minutes to grow if you don't have any.
Combine the Button Mushroom and Carrot to create the 2-Star Entrée, Button Stew. Players can now eat it to regain Energy, offer it to a character, sell it to get some Star Coins, or gift it to a horse if it's their favorite gift of the day.
Button Stew Issue In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley
After the release of the Wishblossom Ranch expansion pack, there seems to be a bug in Disney Dreamlight Valley that's causing the Button Stew to come out as Tasty Veggies. Considering Carrot is a Vegetable and Button Mushroom is under the spices category, it makes sense that the result is Tasty Veggies.
Some speculations suggest that the Button Mushroom should be under a different category to stop this issue from happening. Other players reported that the Button Mushroom refuses to go into the pot and disappears after a while. Thankfully, Gameloft usually fixes bugs quickly and compensates players later on. As of the Cinderella update in December 2025, the bug is officially fixed.
