Disney Dreamlight Valley's 'A Day at Disney' Star Path is bursting with different duties to complete for desirable token rewards. As you might expect, some of the Star Path duties can be trickier to decipher than others, so you might wonder how to get some night shards to light up.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Pixel Shards (& What Are They Used For)
Pixel Shards are unique multiplayer-exclusive crafting items in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and here is how to get and use them.
Night Shards are shiny, black crystals used in crafting or gifting, and they could be considered as the polar opposite of Disney Dreamlight Valley's Dream Shards. While you won't be turning them pink, you will be following a few steps to get them to effectively light up by changing color and form.
How To Get Night Shards To Light Up In DDV
To get some Night Shards to light up in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must craft 10 Purified Night Shards at a Crafting Station under the Potions and Enchantments menu. To make one Purified Night Shard, you need to combine one Dream Shard with five Night Shards. Therefore, to make 10 Purified Night Shards to 'lighten them up,' you will need the following resources in total:
- 10 Dream Shards
- 50 Night Shards
Crafting 10 Purified Night Shards is enough to get some Night Shards to light up by transforming them into the namesake light blue Shards. Once you've done this, a notification appears afterward to indicate you've completed the task, enabling you to collect it from Disney Dreamlight Valley's 'A Day at Disney' Star Path duty menu and grab 10 tokens as a reward.
You're now also one step closer to crossing off all Star Path duties, and you can complete this duty quickly if you have a good supply of Dream and Night Shards in your inventory. However, you may also want to find more Dream and Night Shards.
Where To Find Night Shards In Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can find Night Shards by digging holes in the ground with your Royal Shovel tool, where they can appear randomly in glowing mounds of earth. However, 50 Night Shards is a lot to try to find randomly. If you're tired of looking and want to light up some Night Shards as fast as possible, you can also use Disney Dreamlight Valley's Onyx to craft Night Shards at a workstation. One Onyx makes three Night Shards, so this method can help you make a decent dent in the required amount.
Where To Find Dream Shards In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The quickest way to find Dream Shards is by removing Night Thorns across the Valley, feeding critters their favorite foods, or occasionally digging them up in the same way as Night Shards.
