The game has a pretty detailed quest system for a life sim, and there’s always something to do. What’s the Holiday Tree Portal in Dreamlight Valley?
The Holiday Tree Portal first shows up during the Something Comes a Knocking quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. As the name suggests, this is a furniture item that spawns in the form of a tree. But unlike regular trees, it has a pumpkin carving on it. Saviors will find it somewhere in the Forgotten Lands biome, though its exact location is different for every player.
The Something Comes a Knocking quest begins when you find your first Matryoshka Doll. There are four of these dolls scattered around the valley, and picking up any one of them will start the quest. During this quest, DDV fans will need to place all four dolls inside the tree in the Forgotten Lands. Once you do that, the tree will turn into the Holiday Tree Portal.
What to Do with the Holiday Tree Portal in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After unlocking Sally and raising your friendship with her to level two, you will unlock the Uncanny Romance quest. In this quest, players set up a date for Jack and Sulley. To make arrangements, you have to decorate the Forgotten Lands biome with the following objects:
- 2 x Outdoor Furniture
- 3 x Halloween Furniture
- 4 x Black Furniture
- 1 x Holiday Tree Portal.
The Holiday Tree Portal is already in the Forgotten Lands, but for some reason, the game doesn’t always recognize it. To fix this, players will need to open the Furniture mode, put the portal in their inventory, and then place it back in the biome. This will complete the step.
After decorating the biome, fans will need to make the following meals for the adorable couple:
After that, she’ll give you the Halloween Picnic Kit, which you’ll need to place around the Holiday Tree Portal to complete the quest.
