How To Complete The Infestation Part 2 Quest In Dreamlight Valley

Here are the prerequisites for this quest:

This quest starts when you return to Timon after removing a Night Mite Nest from the Plaza in Infestation Part 1. Head over to Pumbaa, who will tell you that he has found more Night Mites in other biomes.

Clear Night Mites

Head to Peaceful Meadow, Glade of Trust, and Dazzle Beach to get rid of:

  • 6 x Night Mite Nests
  • 12 x Mega Night Mites.

The Mega Night Mites will be roaming around, but the nests are in specific spots. In the Glade of Trust, one is near the floating island, and the other is by the Giant Willow. In the Dazzle Beach biome, players will need to check near the entrance to the Glade of Trust and by the Mystical Cave. For Peaceful Meadow, Dreamers will find one behind a rock by the hill and the other close to the pond near Dazzle Beach.

Clear Night Mites in the Valley

After dealing with the Night Mites, the protagonist will need to go back to Pumbaa and Timon for an update. Timon will tell you that these pesky bugs have made their way into Prince Eric’s Castle too. So head over to Prince Eric’s castle and clear out all the Night Mites you find. Once you're done, Pumbaa will reveal that the bugs have spread to these villagers’ homes:

  • Mike and Sulley's Apartment
  • Daisy's House
  • WALL-E's Truck.

You'll spot a few Night Mites in each house. Once you've cleared them out, talk to Timon. He’ll mention that he’s tracked the last of the Night Mites to Jack Skellington’s house, so now you’ll need to head over there to finish the task.

You might not see any Night Mites at first, so talk to the Pumpkin King to see if he’s noticed anything. He’ll say no, but if you look around, you will find a Night Mite Nest hidden under a red cloth near the window. Interact with the cloth and catch three bugs. When you're done, talk to Pumbaa one final time. He will tell you that Jack likes eating bugs and was trying to hide the nest. After your chat, you'll complete The Infestation Part 2 quest.
