How to Complete The Guardian Party Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Talk to Mushu and Deliver Invitations to Villagers

The quest starts when you meet Mushu in Vitalys Mines. He thinks it's a great spot for his guardian party and gives you some invitation cards. So now you have to deliver the invitation cards.

Here’s who you need to invite:

  • The Beast
  • Mulan
  • Simba
  • Mirabel

After you deliver the cards, return to Mushu. He's excited about the party and asks you to decorate the valley.

Gather Materials and Craft Modular Dragon Decorations

Players have to gather the following materials to craft decorative items:

  • 28 x Bricks
  • 35 x Hardwood
  • 7 x Rubies
  • 2 x Gold Ingots

Fans can craft one brick with five Clay and one Coal Ore. Collect Hardwood from the Forest of Valor, Forgotten Lands, Frosted Heights, Glade of Trust, or Sunlit Plateau. After that, mine Rubies from rocks inside Vitalys Mines. The last material, Gold Ingots, can be made with Gold Nuggets and Coal Ore found in the Sunlit Plateau.

After collecting all the materials, go to any Crafting Station and build the following items:

  • 2 x Modular Dragon Head
  • 2 x Modular Dragon Tail
  • 3 x Modular Dragon Body

Place these items anywhere in the valley and return to Mushu, who will now ask you to ring the golden bell to start the celebration and wear something red and gold. This will kick off three separate quests.

The Red Pouch Hunt

To complete this quest, look for seven glowing red pouches in Vitalys Mines. These pouches are easy to spot due to their glow. Pick them up and open them to receive Rubies, Gold Ingots, and Star Coins.

Cook Sesame Balls

In this part of the quest, you have to prepare Sesame Balls using these ingredients:

Go to a Cooking Station, make the dish, and give it to Mushu.

Mushu's Pinata Extravaganza

Finally, smash three pinatas found near the river with your Royal Pickaxe and collect 10 Dragon Candies from them. After that, talk to Mushu again to finish the quest.
