Developed by Gameloft, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation game set in a magical land filled with Disney and Pixar characters. Players can fish, mine, cook, and do many fun activities with beloved heroes and villains. In this game, your ultimate goal is to solve the mystery of the ‘Forgetting.’
Each character in Disney Dreamlight Valley has friendship quests for players to complete. Erratic Transportation is a new quest in the game added in the recent DLC. It is the final friendship quest for Oswald, the Lucky Rabbit, a new villager in the valley. Here's how players can complete it and earn Oswald's friendship.

How to Complete The Erratic Transportation Quest in the Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock the Erratic Transportation quest, Dreamers will need to reach friendship level 10 with Oswald. You’ll also need to complete his previous quest, A Cockamamie. To complete the Erratic Transportation Friendship Quest for Oswald, check out the following steps.
Finding the Trolley Conductor Hat
Talk to Oswald to start the quest. In the conversation, he’ll ask you to make a trolley, but first, you’ll need to dress appropriately for it. He wants you to wear the Trolley Conductor Hat, which he lost a while ago, so you'll need to find it.
According to the lucky rabbit, he lost it in The Docks region of the Ancient’s Landing biome of Eternity Isle. The hat can be found near EVE’s home in The Docks. Use your Royal Hourglass to collect it. Once you have it, put on the hat and show it to Oswald.
Building the Trolley and Tracks
In the second step of the quest, Oswald will ask you to build a Trolley and Tracks. Here’s a quick rundown of the elements you will need:
- 10 Ancient Belts
- 120 Plastic Scrap
- 8 Bones
- 10 Zinc
- 50 Copper
- 80 Tropical Wood
Ancient belts can be found in all biomes of the Eternity Isle. You’ll need to use the Royal Hourglass to get them. Plastic Scrap can be obtained by fishing in open waters on the Eternity Isle. Bones can be obtained by digging in Glittering Dunes or fishing in any water body in the biome without bubbles. Zinc is available in the four biomes: The Grasslands, The Promenade, The Grove, and The Lagoon in the Wild Tangle biome. Copper is found in all biomes of the isle. Lastly, you can get Tropical Wood in The Grasslands area of Wild Tangle.
Once you have all the materials, go to any Crafting Station and build the Newborn Trolley. Then, make ten Tracks from the Fencing & Paving section in the Crafting menu.
Place the tracks on the ground using the Furniture mode, and give the trolley to Oswald. He will be delighted to see it and ask you to put it somewhere nearby. After you do that, Oswald will invite you to celebrate the grand opening of his trolley with him and the other characters. Attend the event and take a few pictures with the trolley and your Disney friends. However, after some time, Oswald will inform you that his trolley is missing.

Distributing the Missing Trolley Posters
Oswald will task players with making missing trolley posters. For that, you will need to get five blank poster sheets from Rapuznel, five Octopus from blue or white Ripples in Ancient’s Landing, and one Tropical Wood from The Grasslands to make the Missing Trolley Posters. When you bring him Oswald the items, he will create the posters and ask you to place them in the five following areas:
- EVE’s House
- Scrooge McDuck’s Store on Eternity Isle
- Gaston’s House
- Rapunzel’s House
- Cave of Wonders
Taking a Photo of the Flying Trolley
After placing the Missing Trolley posters around the valley, head back to Oswald. He will inform the players that the trolley has been spotted flying over the water bodies near Ancient's Landing. Your next task is to take a picture of the flying trolley with your camera.
Cooking Up a Plan
Next, Oswald comes up with a strange idea. He asks you to cook up a plan to get the trolley. He’ll give you a paper and ask you to collect the following ingredients:
- 1 Date
- 1 Nestling Pear
After collecting both ingredients, go to a cooking station, make the ‘Cooked-Up Plan’, and consume it.
Talking to EVE and Crafting a Landing Strip
After eating the plan, players will come up with the idea to seek help from EVE, since she’s also a flying robot. Talk to her, and she’ll ask you to get three more resources to build a Landing Strip to capture the flying trolley:
- 5 Bones
- 2 Electric Power
- 1 Brass Ingot.
Brass Ingot can be crafted using Zinc, Copper, and Coal Ore, while Electric Power requires Copper and Electric Eel fish. After collecting the materials,make the Landing Strip at a Crafting Station. Once done, place it in The Docks region of Ancient’s Landing and talk to Oswald one last time to complete the quest.
