How To Unlock Jasmine, Aladdin, & Magic Carpet In DDV

The Carpet Diem is the final quest in the Aladdin realm where players will finally unlock the characters stuck inside as villagers in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The quest will take players to a whole new world above the swirling sand, where they will find the cause of the problem.

Taking care of the problem by removing obstacles and building bridges out of planks will eventually complete the Carpet Diem quest, unlock Aladdin and Jasmine characters, and unlock the Magic Carpet as a companion in DDV. After inviting the characters in DDV to join the valley, you're free to level up their friendship to unlock their quests and earn various unique rewards.

Carpet Diem Quest In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon using the Gold Lamp to seal the powers of the sandstorms, you can speak with Jasmine again to start the Carpet Diem quest in DDV. There are many quests you should complete to trigger the Carpet Diem quest:

The Ancient Revealed Quest
Brave the Storm Quest
Monkey Business Quest
Breaking Through Quest
Wish Magic Quest

After that, interact with the Magic Carpet to fly high to the top of the wind swirl with Aladdin. There, you must use every piece of information you learned in Agrabah to destroy all four crystals.

First, do the following steps:

Approach the red crystal found left and destroy it using a Pickaxe.
Grab the plank and make a bridge to reach the other side.
Take yet another wooden plank and create a bridge to cross it.
Go left again to destroy the yellow crystal, then fish in the quicksand pool to lift a submerged plank and use it as a bridge.

Destroy the wood and ignore the monkey for now. Proceed forward to find a blue crystal to the left. Once you're done, push the barrel out of the way and break the rock obstacles in DDV to get the golden banana. Give it to the monkey, and it will gift you a wooden plank. Head back to where you picked the banana and put the plank down to reach the green crystal.

Destroying all four crystals will make the structure collapse, forcing you to jump on the Magic Carpet to head down safely. This will save Agrabah from any further destruction, leaving players the opportunity to invite the characters back to Dreamlight Valley.

How To Unlock Jasmine, Aladdin, & Magic Carpet In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley

Complete the quest by speaking with Aladdin, who reveals he doesn't mind going to the valley as long as Jasmine wishes to go. Talk with the Princess and then head back to Dreamlight Valley to build Aladdin and Jasmine's Palace. It's small considering the size of other houses, but it will cost Dreamers 20,000 Star Coins to build it.

Once the house is built, Jasmine will arrive in the valley automatically. Next, go back to the Aladdin realm and talk with Aladdin one last time to unlock him as a character. After a brief conversation, he gives you the Magic Carpet as a companion, which you can equip to take a picture with.
