An Old-Fashioned Heist is one of Flynn Rider’s friendship quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players will help the rogue break into Maleficent’s vault to figure out what he did to Aurora when he was cursed.
There are many requirements to trigger An Old-Fashioned Heist quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which includes unlocking various characters as villagers like Stitch, Mushu, and Merida. Additionally, one of the areas of the Everafter biome must be unlocked to proceed.

You will complete The Company of a Wolf quest once you solve all of Flynn's problems in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How To Complete An Old-Fashioned Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
At the beginning, look at the requirements from the main menu to make sure you have access to everything requested. Other than the long list of characters, the Fallen Fortress, where there’s a trial, must be unlocked (5,000 Storybook Magic) and Flynn Rider needs to be friendship level 7.
Upon triggering the quest, Flynn will explain how he wants to break into Maleficent’s vault. After agreeing, head to the Fallen Fortress and go left from the entrance to find a path blocked by green mushrooms. Flynn then proceeds to give you a list of materials to gather to get rid of the obstacles:
- White Rose x2: Harvested from The Wild Woods and The Fallen Fortress.
- Honeydew Melon x4: Bought as seeds from Goofy’s Stall in Mythopia and planted for 45 minutes.
- Olive Green Tale Cone Flower x2: Harvested from The Bind.
- Posidonia x8: Cast the Fishing Rod outside any ripple in Mythopia to get Posidonia.
Craft the Flower Extract on the crafting station and use it to upgrade the Watering Can. Go back to the Fallen Fortress and water the green mushrooms to get Fairy Bubbles. Proceed inside to find that the path to the vault is blocked by three traps. Dreamers must recruit certain villagers to help with the traps:
- Someone who can withstand thick smoke → Stitch
- Someone who can create fire → Mushu
- Someone who is an expert archer → Merida
Once everyone is back at the Fallen Fortress, speak with them to start clearing the traps. Use the Royal Net tool in Disney Dreamlight Valley to turn the wheel located at the end of each corridor, which finally unlocks a portal leading to Maleficent’s vault.
Head inside and pick up the two memories to tell Flynn what you read. It turns out that the rogue was helping Aurora, which made Maleficent angry, hence why she cursed Flynn. Finishing this conversation will complete An Old-Fashioned Heist quest in DDV.
