December 5 will mark the first anniversary of Disney Dreamlight Valley's 1.0 release. Gameloft has been expanding the game on a regular basis ever since, having most recently done so with The Lucky Dragon update, which rolled out in late June 2024.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Dapper Delights Update Will Introduce Tiana
The developer's next big content drop will arrive in the form of Dapper Delights, a free update that is set to introduce Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. The arrival of this character may not come as a complete surprise to the most attentive of fans, as Gameloft has been teasing Tiana's Disney Dreamlight Valley debut since early August 2024. The upcoming update will also include her iconic restaurant, Tiana's Palace. The eatery will be tied to a quest geared toward helping Tiana set up shop in the Dreamlight Valley.
Dapper Delights Star Path Is Inspired by the Roaring Twenties
One of the rewards for fostering a friendship with Tiana will be her meal stall, where players will be able to purchase a wide variety of snacks. As is the case with all such major content drops, Dapper Delights will expand Disney Dreamlight Valley's selection of Star Paths. The clothing, makeup, hairstyles, and furniture that can be unlocked as part of the new Star Path have all been inspired by the Roaring Twenties, the time period in which The Princess and the Frog takes place. The Dapper Delights Star Path will even introduce a flashy new outfit for Donald Duck.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Cross-Platform Play Finally Coming to PlayStation Consoles
In terms of new features, one of the biggest additions that Dapper Delights brings to the table is cross-platform play for the PS4 and PS5. PlayStation users will hence soon be able to both join and host Disney Dreamlight Valley multiplayer sessions with players on other platforms. Wardrobe and furniture menu improvements are also part of the upcoming patch, introducing quality-of-life improvements like a search bar and the ability to hide items or mark them as favorites. Dapper Delights will also debut outfit presets, allowing players to easily swap their styles without having to recreate them piece by piece.
The new Disney Dreamlight Valley patch will reach PC and console players on August 21. Aside from the aforementioned free content additions, the update will also include the third and final act of the A Rift in Time expansion pass, which will conclude the paid DLC story revolving around Jafar from Aladdin.
