What to Expect from Disney Dreamlight Valley's Alice in…

Players have speculated that Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Spring update would be Alice in Wonderland themed since the game released a 2025 Free Content Roadmap last November. It would appear that these players are vindicated, as Disney Dreamlight Valley has officially announced the Wonderland Whimsy update will be headed to the hit simulation game on April 23. Alongside the standard quality of life improvements, the Wonderland Whimsy will add both Alice and the Cheshire Cat to the Valley. Of course, a new Star Path will be part of the Wonderland Whimsy update as well.

While teasing players of its Spring update’s theme, Disney Dreamlight Valley released its typical Star Path brain-teaser. This update’s three sets of emotions included a teapot and a fountain, a crown and a heart, and a flower with three music notes. Players well acquainted with the plot of Alice in Wonderland can easily point out what these sets of emojis refer to.

What Is Known About the Garden of Whimsy Star Path

Like all Star Paths, the upcoming Garden of Whimsy Star Path will feature six base tiers. The exact items of the Star Path remain mostly unknown, though the Whimsy Wonderland content reveal videos released across Disney Dreamlight Valley’s social media pages do show a couple of items. Both the Garden of Whimsy’s Premium Animal Companion and its Dreamstyle were announced in a video. This update’s Dreamstyle will belong to Minnie Mouse, sporting a garden dress and hat. The Star Path’s Animal Companion is also Alice in Wonderland themed; players can now have its iconic smoking caterpillar following them around in his butterfly form.

These two items in the Garden of Whimsy Star Path are the only items officially revealed by Disney Dreamlight Valley, but the upcoming Star Path will obviously feature more content. Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Star Paths have expanded since beta, with the game’s current Star Path, Oasis Retreat, being one of the best to date. If Disney Dreamlight Valley continues this upward trend, it’s likely that the Garden of Whimsy Star Path will also feature quite a few items.

Predicting the Other Items in the Garden of Whimsy Star Path

The standard items of every Star Path include Moonstones in each tier and various furniture items, clothing, and motifs. While more items in the Garden of Whimsy Star Path have yet to be revealed, various clothing items from the Premium Shop were revealed in the various teasers for Wonderland Whimsy. These two outfits are themed to the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. This doesn’t mean that items themed to these two characters won’t be included in the Garden of Whimsy Star Path. After all, the crown and heart emoji in the Star Path’s brain-teaser obviously hint at the Queen of Hearts’ presence in Garden of Whimsy.

The Queen of Hearts items could also reference important characters in her storyline, including items inspired by her playing cards or white roses that have been painted red. The teapot and fountain could mean a new teapot-shaped fountain in the game, or, more likely, various items themed to the Mad Hatter’s tea party. The flower and music note emojis could be a reference to Alice in Wonderland’s flower scene, where Alice talks to several mean sentient flowers.

Overall, the Garden of Whimsy Star Path will certainly be a thrilling addition to Disney Dreamlight Valley’s past roster of battle passes. Time will only tell if these predictions are correct, but considering the game’s past Star Paths and the emoji brain-teaser, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see items themed to the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter tea party, and the flower attack, present in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next Star Path.
