Disney Dreamlight Valley has just revealed more than half a year's worth of content planned for the game, laying out its plans through summer 2026 in a streaming showcase. Disney Dreamlight Valley fans are already looking forward to the Wishblossom Ranch expansion in November, but now they've also got plenty more to be excited about, including the debut of a highly requested character in the spring.

Disney Dreamlight Valley reveals Wishblossom Ranch DLC

The development team at Gameloft revealed Disney Dreamlight Valley's Wishblossom Ranch DLC in early September. Following the conclusion of the Storybook Vale arc that wrapped up in July, the game's third paid expansion is set to launch on November 19, and it will task players with restoring a dilapidated ranch with the aid of several new mechanics given to rideable horses.

Disney Dreamlight Valley rolls out new details about its annual Trick or Treat event for 2025, giving players a sneak peek at what to expect.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Content Through Summer 2025

  • Wishblossom Ranch Premium Expansion - November 19, 2025
  • The Winter Ball (Cinderella Free Update) - December 10, 2025
  • Lady and the Tramp Free Update - Early 2026
  • Pocahontas Free Update - Spring 2026
  • Hercules Free Update - Summer 2026

While the initial reveal shared the basic story and mechanics behind the Wishblossom Ranch DLC, it lacked that certain Disney vibe, not mentioning any Disney Dreamlight Valley characters associated with the new region. The new showcase fixes that, revealing that its old caretaker, Cruella de Vil, is responsible for its downfall, and showing that Snow White, Tinkerbell, and Tigger will all be helping out. So will special equine characters Maximus from Tangled, Khan from Mulan, and Pegasus from Hercules, each of whom has unique abilities, accompanied by a full herd of customizable horses. Unlike the previous premium expansions, this one will not be split up into two parts, so all characters and quests will be available to unlock at launch.

In addition to a flurry of new Wishblossom Ranch information, the stream also revealed the game's free content roadmap through summer 2026, showing that there will be three free expansions released through the first part of the year. In the creative team's typical style, the names of the characters these expansions are built around are left out, though the images displayed with them show settings from Disney films that make it pretty obvious. As one of the most requested characters from the fan base, Pocahontas will likely be joining Disney Dreamlight Valley in spring 2026, with her Disney Renaissance cohort Hercules following her in the summer. While seemingly not quite as popular among the game's fans, the first update of 2026 will likely bring the canine duo of Lady and the Tramp to the game.

Disney Dreamlight Valley 2026 free content roadmap

But before 2025's end, Gameloft still has one free update left up its sleeve, coming on December 10. The Cinderella update has been teased since the beginning of June, when the second half of Disney Dreamlight Valley's 2025 roadmap was revealed. Now, developers have revealed its official name, The Winter Ball. While the Fairy Godmother has been around since the game's launch, the story states that Cinderella vanished at the beginning of The Forgetting, and players must break a protective enchantment placed by the Fairy Godmother to bring the princess back to the valley. Additionally, the December update will introduce Dream Teams, a new feature allowing players to work cooperatively to share resources and complete crafting tasks together.
