After spending some time with a character in Diablo Immortal, players may decide that they would like to see what some of the game's other classes have to offer. While this can be done by creating an entirely new character, it is also possible to change classes and avoid losing significant progress. In fact, it is extremely easy to change class in Diablo Immortal, and this guide contains full details on how to approach this undertaking.
Diablo Immortal: How to Change Class
There is one requirement that players must fulfill before they can change class in Diablo Immortal: their character must be Level 35 or above. While it should not take a tremendous amount of time to reach that level, this requirement does mean that fans will not be able to change their class in the earliest stages of the game. Indeed, players that are unhappy with their class straight out of the gate will need to roll an entirely new character if they want to try something different.
With this single requirement fulfilled, fans should make their way to Selynne's Basilia on the east side of Westmarch in Diablo Immortal. Players will find a burning brazier known as the Shifting Flames inside this cathedral, and indeed it is the key to changing class. For the sake of full clarity, the precise position of the Shifting Flames has been marked on the map that is below, and fans should click on the object, select "Class Change," and follow the onscreen prompts to perform the transformation.
Players should now have all of the information that they need to change class, though there are some additional things that are worth knowing about the process. To begin, while it is entirely free to change a character's class, it can only be done once every seven days. The exception to this is that Diablo Immortal fans have a one-time chance to return to their original class without waiting for the aforementioned seven days to pass.
It is also worth mentioning that players will have the opportunity to alter their character's appearance and adjust their Paragon Tree the first time that they switch to each class. Furthermore, fans will receive placeholder gear of an equivalent rank and maintain their original character's social affiliations. There are some class-specific gear pieces that will not carry over to the new class, though, but they will be available if the player ultimately decides to switch their Diablo Immortal character back to their original class.
Diablo Immortal is available on Mobile and PC.
