A Diablo 4 dev has confirmed that Patch 1.1.1 will not be increasing the difficulty of Uber Lilith. Since launching, Diablo 4 has undergone regular updates and received several patches as Blizzard rolls out new content and rebalances the game in response to player feedback. Most recently, the developer has announced an incoming, major patch that should bring loads of changes to the action RPG.

Fortunately for those struggling against Lilith as she is now, the primary villain of Diablo 4 will not be getting a buff with the new update. In response to a question from a fan on Twitter, Adam Fletcher of Blizzard's Diablo team confirmed that the health increase for bosses will not include Lilith in either Uber or Story form. As figuring out how to beat Diablo 4's Lilith is already a considerable challenge for many, this news should come as a relief for struggling fans.

Interestingly, Fletcher appears to have dodged part of the question in his response. While he did confirm that Uber and Story Lilith will not be getting buffed, he was initially asked about The Butcher and Varshan as well. By specifying that Lilith will not be buffed, Fletcher could be implying that the other bosses will be included in the upcoming changes. This means that beating or escaping the Butcher could soon be much tougher.

Overall, this update will likely be a welcome improvement for many. Blizzard promises Patch 1.1.1 will fix some Diablo 4 performance issues, and the rebalancing will, hopefully, please players who have been frustrated by recent nerfs for their characters. The bonuses to boss health should present a greater challenge, but the exclusion of Lilith means finishing the story won't be getting significantly more difficult for now.

Diablo 4 has received lots of updates since launching, and Blizzard is clearly still seeking the right balance for all its content, game mechanics, and features. While this has been jarring for some fans, the development team does seem committed to communicating with players regularly. The early release of patch notes and responses on Twitter speak to this point.
