A Diablo 4 streamer has revealed a new, Unique Mythic farm that involves fighting one of the Tormented bosses. The long-awaited fifth season of Diablo 4 is now available, and one of the main highlights is an adjustment to the game's itemization. Blizzard has brought significant changes to the game's most coveted items, aiming to shake up the experience for players.
The most notable change is the rework of Diablo 4's Unique items. With it, the general Unique items for all five classes received changes. Uber Unique items, now called Mythic Uniques, also have new attributes. New Unique items also have been added to Diablo 4, offering specific gear options for each of the game's five classes in addition to the general Uniques. Another significant change came in the odds of obtaining a Unique Mythic, and thanks to it, one Diablo 4 player discovered a valuable new farm method.
Diablo 4: How To Get The Ring Of Misfortune
The Ring of Mistfortune is a secret Ancestral Unique ring in Diablo 4 that players can get using the innocuous Lucky Coin item. Learn how here.
Well-known Diablo 4 streamer Rob2628 battled Tormented Echo of Lord Zir repeatedly and surprised players by revealing a new Mythic Uniques farm. In a video on his YouTube channel, the content producer is connected to Diablo 4's Eternal Realm, in which he summons the most challenging version of Diablo 4's vampire boss several times. After a couple of minutes battling Tormented Echo of Lord Zir, the streamer shows that he got two Mythic Uniques, one of them being the coveted Harlequin Crest, aka Shako, one of Diablo 4's most popular items.
Mythic Uniques Received Big Changes in Diablo 4 Season 5
With the start of Season 5, Diablo 4 has made it easier for players to obtain the coveted Mythic Unique items. One of the changes is the increase to a 7.5% chance that all Tormented bosses would drop multiple Mythic Uniques, instead of just one. Diablo 4's Helltides have become more interesting, with players able to get Mythic Uniques from Whisper Caches, Purveyors of Curiosity, and Tortured Gifts. Extending another helping hand, from the fifth season of Diablo 4 onwards, the chances of Mythic Uniques dropping from all non-bosses are greater.
It's important to note that although Rob2628's video focuses on Lord Zir, the tip shared by the streamer applies to any Tormented boss since the adjustments made by Diablo 4 in Season 5 apply to all of them. Players planning to use this new method need to act fast. Blizzard has so far not addressed the existence of this new Mhytic Uniques farm and has not revealed whether it will adjust it in a future Diablo 4 patch.
