Some Diablo 4 players think that the game feels lonely due to the lack of social interaction features, with some urging Blizzard to add a party finder for those who don't have friends to play with. Players don't need to group up to enjoy Diablo 4, but the game is definitely built with co-op in mind.

The newest incarnation of Blizzard's ARPG series, Diablo 4 expands on the gameplay with a shared world where players can explore Sanctuary together. The game offers more freedom in character and combat customization, which significantly increases replayability. Players encounter dynamic world events that present opportunities for special rewards. Featuring from Nightmare Dungeons and world bosses to legion events, Diablo 4's open world is filled with dozens of activities players can join with their friends.

Diablo 4 players took to the game's subreddit to voice their frustration over the lack of specific social features, with some suggesting Blizzard add a party finder for those who don't have friends to play with. A user named storage_god created a thread and invited others to discuss whether certain features should be added to the game. Apart from a party finder, some players came up with a fresh idea, saying Blizzard should add a matchmaking option that helps players find friends in case they don't want to explore Diablo 4's distinctive regions alone.

In the comments, many players claimed that the game is lacking in one department Blizzard usually excels at - the implementation of basic social features. Although Diablo 4 has the option to create a clan, add friends, and invite them to the party, the lack of a global chat and party finder affects the overall gaming experience. Some players even said Diablo 2 had more of a social aspect two decades ago. It remains to be seen whether Blizzard will hear Diablo 4 players and bring requested social features in the future.

Now that Diablo 4 has been out for a month, players have said Blizzard should roll out some quality-of-life features to provide a healthier gaming experience. The list of features missing from Diablo 4 includes a separate tab for Sigils, map overlays, and a permanent timer that shows when World Bosses will spawn. Some disgruntled players are also calling out Blizzard to bring adjustments to the game's reroll system. Despite these requests, the consensus seems to be that Diablo 4 has lived up to the hype, and many are excited to see what is coming to the game in future updates.

Diablo 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
