A few Diablo 4 players have recently managed to completely wreck the Wandering Death, a powerful late-game World Boss. The first Diablo 4 gamer only reached Level 100 a few weeks ago, but it seems that most of the community is already very advanced in the late game and ready to melt bosses quite quickly using powerful builds.
The endgame is when a title like Diablo 4 lives or dies. While some gamers won’t even finish the original campaign, many will spend literally thousands of hours in the endgame, farming some of the best gear and trying out the most difficult challenges. One of the most interesting tasks for high-level characters is to challenge World Bosses in Diablo 4. They are intimidating enemies that spawn at certain locations and can be tackled in co-op by several players at the same time. Normally, they’re quite a challenge, but it seems that some people are getting too powerful for the current World Bosses.
A Diablo 4 player called Stso recently shared a video in which a few characters essentially wreck a World Boss called the Wandering Death. In the video, it’s possible to see a group of 10 characters, not even a single one of them at Level 100, attacking the boss several times per second, and the whole thing is over in less than 15 seconds.
In the comments of the Reddit post, some Diablo 4 players were pretty impressed with the skill displayed by these gamers and discussed their strategies. For instance, Speedyy81 highlighted how powerful Necromancers using a bone spear can be, as they managed to land 7 crits in a row in the video, probably due to gear with very high critical chance values. Some others, however, were not as surprised. Crazn1ng, for instance, said that it was pretty normal to see World Bosses going down so fast, and it’s rare to see them last over a minute, in their experience.
Certainly, Blizzard will need to keep tweaking the endgame for the Diablo 4 players to remain engaged, and one person recently had a pretty cool idea for that. This Diablo 4 gamer suggested a change in World Bosses, allowing gamers to see how much damage they had done to them after the combat ended. This would add more incentive for gamers to fight them, as they could at least see how much they helped during these chaotic fights.
Diablo 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
