The second season for Diablo 4, called the Season of Blood, will have players fighting off hoards of the undead and vampires. However, players will also get a taste of their special abilities with the introduction of Vampiric Powers.
These abilities are new to Diablo 4, and supplement players' builds alongside the Skill Tree and Paragon Boards. Vampiric Powers will only be available during the Season of Blood, so players should unlock the full list before the season ends in January 2024. This guide will show how to unlock the ability to equip Vampiric Powers and where to get every power.
How To Unlock and Equip Vampiric Powers
Since Vampiric Powers are only available in the Season of Blood, players must first complete or skip the campaign to access the seasonal quests. The second quest, The Hunter's Chase, will have players enter the Magistrate's Office in Ked Bardu.
Players will encounter Hunter Erys, who will need help defeating a group of monsters. Once the battle is done, players will be able to equip their first Vampiric Power from the Seasonal tab within the inventory. The menu is next to the Equipment tab, marked with a blood drop icon and green leaf.
The Sanguine Circle allows players to slot in up to five Vampiric Powers at a time, but the powers can only be active if the right Pacts are equipped. Pacts are found on pieces on armor, and can contain different numbers of Pacts called Divinity, Eternity, and Ferocity. The list of all 22 Vampiric Powers are listed in the menu, but not all are unlocked at the start.
All Vampiric Powers and Requirements
Most Vampiric Powers in the Season of Blood can be unlocked by spending 25 Potent Blood, which are earned by defeating monsters in the Blood Harvest area, though the selection will be random each time. There are a few powers that can only be unlocked by completing the seasonal quests, and two powers that require players to rank up in the Hunter's Acclaim Board.
