Once the Seasonal content for Diablo 4 started to drop, many players got to use and implement into their character builds the different Seasonal mechanics that each season introduced to the base game. Season 3 brought the Seneschal Constructs, Season 2 used Vampiric Powers, and Season 1 introduced Malignant Hearts. These Malignant Hearts are going to be the subject for today.
While many Malignant Hearts – general and class-specific – were used during Season of the Malignant, only five of these were kept in the game in the form of Malignant Rings, one per each class. For the Sorcerers, Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop Unique was introduced as an even more powerful version of its Malignant Heart counterpart. Today's guide will give you an idea of what you can do in Diablo 4 to get this Unique item in the hopes of boosting your elemental damage output.

Thus far, most of the discourse around Diablo 4 has centered on its classes. Check out this Diablo 4 Tier List to see which ones came out on top.
How to Get Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop Unique in Diablo 4
While Tal'Rasha Malignant Heart was originally obtained by completing seasonal activities in Diablo 4 like completing Malignant Tunnel Dungeons, Season 2 reintroduced it as the Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop Unique ring for all Sorcerers. To get this Unique, you will have to complete endgame activities in Sanctuary, such as successfully beating World Bosses, completing Nightmare Dungeons by using Nightmare Sigils, or taking part in Gathering Legion events. You can also try to find it by opening chests in World Tier 3 and World Tier 4.
While you can wait for the Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop Unique ring to drop at these activities – the higher the difficulty, the more chances you have to get it – Season 2 also introduced Uber Bosses, which are a great way to farm Unique items. Out of all the Uber Bosses, you will want to face the Echo of Varshan, since Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop is part of this boss's loot table. That said, you will need to collect Malignant Hearts to summon him – other Malignant Body Parts were removed in Season 5:
-
Echo of Varshan (World Tier 3):
- 2x Malignant Heart
-
Echo of Varshan (World Tier 4):
- 5x Malignant Heart
-
Tormented Echo of Varshan:
- 15x Malignant Heart
- 1x Stygian Stone
The Stygian Stones are obtained by completing The Pit runs and opening up chest rewards. Tormented Uber Bosses were introduced in Diablo 4 Season 4 and are much harder versions of the base Uber Bosses. That said, they will also provide greater chances to get Unique items as well as Greater Affixes for said Uniques, so you might want to give the Tormented Echo of Varshan a shot.
