Diablo 4 grants players a good amount of character customization, allowing build crafting for each class to become a fun and experimental aspect of the game. Out of all the aspects of creating your own build, farming Unique items that will change the game dynamics in your favor is among the many activities you will have to endure. Thankfully, encountering a Unique weapon or piece of armor is significantly easier today than when the game originally launched.
That said, among the many effects that these Unique items can supply, sometimes all you need in your build is a bit of a damage boost for your character to become unbeatable. That is the case with the Sorcerers, whose builds such as the Frozen Orb Sorcerer or the Lightning Spear Sorcerer will definitely benefit from such an effect, an effect that the Esu's Heirloom Unique boots will provide. Today's guide will take a closer look at the various ways you can farm it in Diablo 4 and, eventually, add it to your equipped gear.

How to Get Esu's Heirloom Unique in Diablo 4
To get the Esu's Heirloom Unique boots – among the first Unique items introduced at launch in Diablo 4 – you will have to reach World Tier 3 minimum. Starting at WT3 and expanding to World Tier 4, you can open chests across Sanctuary and there's a possibility you'll find the Esu's Heirloom Unique. However, as a rule of thumb, harder challenges and activities give a better chance at farming Uniques, so completing Gathering Legions, running Nightmare Dungeons, and even facing World Bosses will work much better.
With that in mind, you can also choose to farm the Esu's Heirloom Unique boots by facing Uber Bosses. This endgame activity introduced during Season 2 will have you face very powerful bosses at specific places in Sanctuary by offering summoning materials. In the case of Esu's Heirloom, you'll have to face the Echo of Varshan or The Beast in the Ice Uber Bosses, since Esu's Heirloom is part of their loot table. There are several versions of these bosses with specific summoning material requirements, so take a look at the table below to know where to get them:
Boss |
Location |
Materials |
|---|---|---|
Echo of Varshan (World Tier 3) |
Malignant Burrow, Hawezar |
Echo of Varshan (World Tier 4) |
Malignant Burrow, Hawezar |
Tormented Echo of Varshan |
Malignant Burrow, Hawezar |
The Beast in the Ice |
Glacial Fissure, Fractured Peaks |
Tormented The Beast in the Ice |
Glacial Fissure, Fractured Peaks |
The Tormented versions of all Uber Bosses are very challenging versions that will provide the most drop chances for Unique farming in Diablo 4, but you will have to have either a meta build fully leveled up or a party of friends who will fight alongside you. Either way, The Pit in itself is also a big challenge to face, given that you will need Stygian Stones to summon Tormented Uber Bosses, so take that into account if you plan to choose this farming method.
