While looking for the best set of gear in Diablo 4, Cleansing Acid can be useful. Although the new Season 2 Pacts allow players to give their armor Vampiric Powers, not all the Pacts work well for a particular build.
For this reason, gamers need to use Cleansing Acid to remove unnecessary and bad Pacts and instead assemble their perfect set of armor. This guide will provide users with all the essential information on where to get Cleansing Acid from and how to remove Pacts in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4: How To Get Cleansing Acid
In Season 2 of Diablo 4, there are two ways players can obtain the Cleansing Acid that is required to remove Pacts from equipment:
- Open Seeker's Caches
- Craft Cleansing Acid by Alchemist
When it comes to the first method, players will need to take part in Blood Harvest. In this event, gamers will encounter plenty of enemies that they will have to kill. If players look out for enemies of the Blood Seekers kind around the Sanguine Alters area and kill them, they will loot Seeker Keys. These keys can be used to open Seeker's Caches, and to summon them, players will have to give 15 Blood Lures to these enemies.
Even though Blood Harvest lasts for an hour, this will be enough for fans to farm a lot of Seeker's Caches. Still, there is no guarantee that Cleansing Acid will drop from them, but they are not very rare, so farming them shouldn’t be a big deal.
To craft Cleansing Acid, fans should visit an Alchemist. But players should keep in mind that they will need to earn at least 100 Potent Blood. Nevertheless, this method is much more reliable than farming Cleansing Acid in Blood Harvest.
Diablo 4: How to Remove Pacts From Gear
After receiving a certain piece of equipment in Diablo 4, players can expect up to 5 Pacts to be attached to it. If one of these Pacts does not work out well for players or takes up a slot that could be used for a better Pact, then they need to use Cleansing Acid. The game has several variations of this item:
- Divinity
- Ferocity
- Eternity
- All
Regardless of whether gamers use Acid that is suitable for all Pacts or the one that takes away only specific ones, they will need to use it in their inventory. For this, they have to right-click on the Cleansing Acid and then choose a piece of gear. After that, all pacts will be removed and put into the inventory. By the way, in addition to the mentioned benefits of removing Pacts from armor, players will have to do this in the Season 2 Journey starting quest.
