One of the most popular builds in Diablo 4 is the Minion Necromancer. With various buffs and variants, Minion Necromancers can solo different endgame activities thanks to their army of undead getting the job done. Thankfully, the sheer power of the Necromancer can be boosted by the different Necro Unique items that will make them near unstoppable.

That is where the Blood Moon Breeches enter the equation. These Unique pants will make your Minions a force to be reckoned with by passively using skills that will get you out of trouble more often than not. Thankfully, Unique farming is not as difficult and repetitive as before, so this guide will focus on the different ways you can get the Blood Moon Breeches in Diablo 4.

How To Get Blood Moon Breeches In Diablo 4

Diablo 4 World Boss

To get the Blood Moon Breeches Unique pants, you can start by either opening chests or defeating enemies in World Tier 3 and World Tier 4 in Diablo 4. While Unique drop chances have improved throughout the game's lifespan, your best shot at getting the Blood Moon Breeches this way is to engage in endgame activities such as Nightmare Dungeons, Gathering Legions, Helltides, and joining players in defeating World Bosses across Sanctuary.

The Blood Moon Breeches were introduced during Diablo 4 Season 2, a season that also saw the implementation of the Uber Boss activities. Uniques are part of a specific Uber Boss loot pool, allowing for greater drop chances at a higher risk due to the difficulty of the fights. Blood Moon Breaches are among the special Unique items that will require you to fight either Duriel, King of Maggots, or the Echo of Andariel, both exclusive to World Tier 4 and whose summoning materials are dropped by other Uber Bosses, as you can see in the table below:

Boss

Location

Materials

Duriel

Gaping Crevasse, Kehjistan

Tormented Duriel

Gaping Crevasse, Kehjistan

  • 6x Mucus-Slick Egg
  • 6x Shard of Agony
  • 1x Stygian Stone: Open reward chests after completing The Pit runs.

Andariel

Hanged Man's Hall, Kehjistan

Tormented Andariel

Hanged Man's Hall, Kehjistan

  • 6x Sandscorched Shackles
  • 6x Pincushioned Doll
  • 1x Stygian Stone

As you can see, out of the two versions for each Uber Boss, the Tormented versions are by far the most difficult to prepare in Diablo 4. This is because Stygian Stones will require The Pit run completions, with The Pit being a particularly difficult activity on its own. However, you will also have a better chance at getting Unique items, so getting the Blood Moon Breeches by defeating Tormented Duriel or Tormented Andariel will be the best way to farm them — as long as you are prepared to do so.
