While you can use the best melee weapons out there and even summon demons to fight by your side, the Sorcerer class is still the go-to class for many Diablo 4 players, both new and veteran. Crafting a build that focuses on one type of Sorcerer's magic will inevitably have you farm Unique items throughout Sanctuary in the hopes of surviving the ruthless armies of Hell.
For the Sorcerers in Diablo 4, who have decided to focus on the exploding prowess of the Fireball fire skill, then the best course of action is to go for the Staff of Endless Rage Unique. Thankfully, farming this Unique item can be done in many ways, so today's guide will explain how to do so, so you choose your best course of action.
All Diablo 4 Season 5 Battle Pass Rewards
If you're wondering what rewards you can get in Diablo 4 Season 5 Battle Pass, here are all of the cosmetics, titles, and emotes.
How to Get Staff of Endless Rage Unique in Diablo 4
Part of the very first Unique items introduced in Diablo 4 when the game was released, the Staff of Endless Rage Unique staff can be obtained through the traditional methods of Unique item farming. That means that you will have to face World Bosses, complete Nightmare Dungeons, and participate in Gathering Legions World Events. This can only be done starting at World Tier 3 and World Tier 4. The Staff of Endless Rage staff can also drop by opening chests throughout Sanctuary, although at a significantly lower rate.
With that in mind, the best way to farm the Staff of Endless Rage Unique is to farm endgame bosses. Similarly to the Scoundrel's Kiss Unique, you can obtain the Staff of Endless Rage by facing and beating Lord Zir, The Dark Master. Moreover, you can also face the Echo of Varshan endgame boss, which can be a bit more accessible since you can summon said boss starting at World Tier 3.
You will need to do some prep work beforehand, so here are the requirements and additional information you need to summon each of these endgame bosses in Diablo 4:

Staff of Endless Rage Unique Effect & Affixes in Diablo 4
The Staff of Endless Rage, as said above, is exclusive to the Sorcerer class and it will boost the Sorcerer's Core Skill named Fireball. Once the Sorcerer has cast its third Fireball, two additional projectiles will be launched which will deal 50 to 90% increased damage. Additionally, the Staff of Endless Rage Unique possesses the following Affixes:
- +[57.0 - 75.0]% Chance for Fireball Projectiles to Cast Twice
- +[37.0 - 55.0]% Fireball Projectile Speed
- +[4 - 6] to Fireball
- +[252 - 360] Intelligence
As you can imagine, this will heavily boost any Fireball Sorcerer's abilities to deal fire damage to its surroundings, which will come in handy for other endgame activities such as The Pit or the Infernal Hordes wave-based activity in Diablo 4. Facing the Tormented version of the endgame bosses yields the best results for farming the Staff of Endless Rage – although they pose the hardest challenge of them all –, but be sure to follow any other method that works for you and your character's level and build.
