The Seal of the Second Trumpet is a Unique ring in Diablo 4 that supercharges the many variations of the Paladin class' Judgement builds. With this item equipped, Judicator Paladins will be able to double the number of Judgement explosions while also magnifying the damage dealt by each detonation, resulting in a spectacular flashbang of a build that can wipe entire hordes of enemies with a single button press. If you're interested in getting one of these rings in Diablo 4, here's what you need to do.
All Major Changes in Diablo 4 Season 11
A number of major systems for Diablo 4 received serious overhauls for Season 11. Here's a look at all of them.
Where to Farm Seal of the Second Trumpet in Diablo 4
As of writing, the specific drop location for Seal of the Second Trumpet is yet to be confirmed. Some players have reported getting the ring from Andariel, Duriel, and the Harbinger of Hatred, but we're yet to verify these. However, what we can confirm is that Seal of the Second Trumpet has a chance to drop for Tree of Whispers bounty caches.
We can now confirm that Seal of the Second Trumpet drops from Duriel.
Farming Whisper bounties is going to take a while, but if you want to get a new reward cache as quickly as possible, then look for bounties that reward 5 Grim Bounties per completion. These are usually tied to activities like boss fights and dungeons, but completing two of these is typically faster than completing 10 different bounties.
If you farm Tree of Whisper bounties in Helltides, you'll also get a decent collection of materials for fighting Lair bosses along the way. These will mostly be for fighting Grigoire in the Dry Steppes, but by beating him, you'll also get materials for fighting Duriel in Kehjistan. After opening the hoards for any Lair Boss, you have a chance to encounter Belial, who will drop a second set of items from the loot pool of whoever you killed earlier.
Make sure to get seasonal bonuses that increase the chance of getting Ancestral Caches when turning in Whisper bounties.
What Does Seal of the Second Trumpet Do?
This Unique ring buffs your Judgement procs by multiplying the damage they deal while giving them a chance to explode twice. This essentially raises the damage dealt by Judgement exponentially, and it works extremely well with Spear of the Heavens or Blessed Shield builds for Paladin in Diablo 4. Seal of the Second Trumpet also has the following fixed/curated stats:
- +Max Life
- +Chance for Judgement to Deal Double Damage
- +Cooldown Reduction
- +Ranks to Shining Armor
If you want to make a Judgement build, we strongly recommend trying Judicant's Glaivehelm together with Seal of the Second Trumpet. This gives your Judicator skills a chance to call down a Blessed Spear that carries a Judgement mark, which you can use to trigger even more holy explosions.
