Supplication is one of the many Unique weapons available to the Paladin class in Diablo 4. It caters to players who prefer playing the ultra-mobile Disciple playstyle, which puts a lot of emphasis on movement and positioning. When combined with Supplication, the Brandish Basic Skill becomes a strong damaging ability that can carry players all the way to the end, provided they can support with the right build. If that sounds interesting to you, then here's where you can find a Supplication sword for yourself in Diablo 4.
Where to Farm Supplication in Diablo 4
Supplication is a Unique sword that drops from the treasure hoard of Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint. Players can only fight Grigoire once they reach any of the Torment difficulties, and in order to open the boss' treasure hoard, you'll need 12 Living Steel.
There are a few ways to get Living Steel:
- Farm Helltide events and open Helltide chests
-
Finish Kurast Undercity runs
- Boss material drops are guaranteed if you use a Tribute of Titans
- Purchase a Boss Summoning Material Cache from Fayira in The Den
- Buy rings from the Purveyor of Curiosities
Farming Helltides in Diablo 4 is by far the most consistent and reliable way to get Living Steel, as not only do you have a chance to get these materials when farming events and opening chests, but you also get a chance to get Tributes of Titans too. While your blasting monsters away, your also gain tons of Rapport for your Mercenaries, giving you money to buy Boss Summoning Material Caches from Fayira.
Grigoire himself is a fairly simple boss to fight. If your build is strong enough, you won't even need to deal with his mechanics at all, but even if that isn't the case, you can easily beat him through prudent positioning and quick reflexes.
Diablo 4 Supplication Effect
Supplication's main effect allows Brandish's energy waves to unleash in all directions while massively increasing the skill's damage output. On top of that, the weapon has the following curated stats:
- +Basic Damage
- +Strength
- +Chance for Brandish to Deal Damage Twice
- +Ranks to Brandish
- +Basic Attack Speed
If you're planning on using a Basic Skill build for Paladin in Diablo 4, then Brandish with Supplication makes for a very strong candidate. Not only will you be getting a powerful skill for both single-target and AoE situations, but you'll also get to make full use of the Disciple Oath and the Arbiter effect, which turns you into a literal angel from the High Heavens for a short duration.
