Farming gear in Diablo 4 can take a long while, especially if players are trying to get their hands on the game's many Mythic Uniques. These items are extremely rare, but with a Tribute of Ascendance, players should get a better chance of getting a Mythic Unique as they're playing.
While Tributes of Ascendance are good for farming Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4, they themselves are quite rare too. Getting one of these tributes will take a while, but if you know how to get them, you should eventually be able to find a few for future farming attempts.

How to Farm Tributes of Ascendance
Players can get Tributes of Ascendance by opening Whisper caches, which can be obtained by completing Tree of Whispers bounties. The drop rates for these tributes are very low, though, so you'll likely have to open plenty of caches just to get one.
Tributes of Ascendance can only be used in Torment difficulty, and it's safe to assume that they only drop on Torment difficulty as well. The higher the difficulty, the better the drop rates for everything, so if you want to farm for something as rare as these, your best bet is to do Whisper bounties on Torment 4.
Completing dungeons and bosses marked by the Tree of Whispers is a great way to quickly farm Whisper caches. They usually don't take long to complete, and if a Lair Boss like Lord Zir gets tagged, you don't need to have the requisite boss materials at hand to complete the bounty.
Treasure hoards from Lair Bosses also have a fairly decent chance of dropping Tributes of all sorts. If you find yourself farming Whisper bounties, make sure to cash in any Malignant Hearts you get over at Varshan's lair.
How to Use Tributes of Ascendance
Like all other Tributes, this one is used at the Spirit Brazier in Kurast. Tributes are used to modify the rewards you can get after completing a Kurast Undercity dungeon run, but there are a few issues here:
- Tributes of Ascendance reduce your starting timer to just 45 seconds.
- Tributes of Ascendance do not guarantee Mythic Unique drops.
You need to own the Vessel of Hatred expansion to unlock the Kurast Undercity.
The odds of getting a Mythic Unique will increase for every Attunement rank you achieve during an Undercity run, and you'll get an even better chance if you complete the run on Torment 4. However, both are easier said than done, as the 45-second time constraint and the overall difficulty of Torment 4 complicates things.
You'll need more than just a good build to beat Torment 4. Make sure to temper your items with the right stats and get gear that fully complement the abilities you're using.
During Kurast Undercity runs, try to hit as many marked monster packs and objectives as you can while heading towards Spirit Beacons to maximize your time and Attunement progress. Use builds with high mobility.
