To sum up this Christmas event, it's a loot goblin hunt across Sanctuary. While exploring the open world, you'll encounter big groups special Treasure Goblins that drop rewards when defeated.
Beating Treasure Goblins will count toward a special reputation board tied to the event, and you can get plenty of rewards from there once you hit certain milestones. If you want to get all the rewards the event has to offer, then you'll need to actively look for Treasure Goblins while you're out doing stuff in Sanctuary.
How to Find Treasure Goblins in the Goblin's Greedings Event
The best way to farm Treasure Goblins is to use a Dungeon Key with the Treasure Breach affix. This modifies the dungeon by significantly increasing the number of goblins inside it.
Visit an Occultist and craft Nightmare Sigils until you get one with the Treasure Breach modifier. If you're out of Sigil Powders, you can farm for some by opening Whisper Caches.
Rewards
There's a statue of a loot goblin in Kyovashad that acts as a reputation board for the event. Here, you claim a variety of loot boxes containing items and Temper Manuals as well as other rewards like Gold, Obols, and crafting materials. At the very end, you'll get Fedric's Gift, which contains Resplendent Sparks and Runes for crafting Mythic Uniques.
Holiday Gifts of the Tree
During the Diablo 4 Goblin's Greedings event, all players will earn a Gift of the Tree (in the form of an extra Chaos when you return Grim Favors for the Tree of Whispers. Don't forget that caches from the tree have a chance to drop Unique and even Mythic Unique items.
Free Christmas-Themed Cosmetics
Three free cosmetics will be available to claim for all players while the event is live. This includes:
- Tackle of the First Snows Mount Trophy
- Fallow-ward Mount Trophy
- Crook of the First Snow Mount Armor
These cosmetics are unlocked over the course of the event's first three days, but even if you don't claim them by then, you'll still be able to get them from the in-game shop until January 6.
