UPDATE 6/8: Blizzard's Rod Fergusson has confirmed that Diablo 4 servers are starting to come back online. Fergusson took to Twitter to say, "I apologize again for the downtime but we should be good to go again. Really appreciate your patience as we continue to hit record highs for concurrency and prepare for the expected surge this weekend. Thank you."

Mileage may vary, but Diablo 4 players should be able to log back into the game. In the meantime, Diablo 4 players may want to brace themselves for some potential downtime this weekend as this will mark the first weekend since the game's full launch.

Original story follows.

The Diablo 4 servers are currently down for many players. Diablo 4's launch has been relatively smooth compared to some other Blizzard launches over the years, but that doesn't mean it's been without its hiccups.

Diablo 4 has had server problems on and off since the game's early access launch. These issues have paled in comparison to, say, the Diablo 3 launch issues, but they are still not ideal. During its early access phase, there were some purchasers of Diablo 4's more expensive editions that weren't even able to properly access to the game early, one of the main selling points, and now players have found themselves in an endless queue to login.

The Diablo 4 server issues have been going on for a couple of hours at the time of this writing. Blizzard has even updated the Breaking News section in the Diablo 4 game itself to acknowledge the issues. Blizzard says that it is investigating the Diablo 4 login issues and working to resolve them as soon as possible. Right now if Diablo 4 players try to log in to the game, they are met with a "Queued for Login" message that says 1,234 minutes left. The login seems to go on forever, though it's unclear if this issue is impacting all Diablo 4 players equally.

We will update this article as soon as the Diablo 4 server issues have been resolved.

Diablo 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
