Diablo 4's second anniversary event is now live, giving players an opportunity to claim new rewards while also taking advantage of a special Mother's Blessing boon. After teasing a special second anniversary event for Diablo 4, Blizzard has finally revealed all of the details. The event itself is now live in the game, running for a couple of weeks and ultimately coming to an end on June 17. Players will likely want to log in during this time as Blizzard has activated Mother's Blessing during the event, which provides a 35% boost to experience and a 50% increase to gold drop rate. In addition, when turning in Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers, players will receive an additional Gift of the Tree cache.

In addition to the Mother's Blessing bonus, the second anniversary event also adds a new Event Reliquary to Diablo 4. According to the blog post, players can trade gold in exchange for in-game items, including mount trophies and weapon cosmetics like the Burning Dawn Bow or Sunraiser Sword. For those who are able to collect all 6 rewards by June 17, they'll earn the Burning Dawn Mount Armor.
For many fans, attention has turned towards the near future with Season 9. While still a ways off, Blizzard has started showcasing some new content, including how Season 9 will change the endgame of Diablo 4. New endgame dungeons called Escalation Nightmares are described by Blizzard as the ultimate test for players, where they can partake in a chain of three dungeons that increase in difficulty and rewards.
